Less well known than the Amazons of Lustria are the far flung Amazon colonies in the Lost Isles of Elithis. How these islands came to be settled is not clear, but we may presume that, like explorers before them, the brave ladies set out in the right general direction (perhaps seeking to find a "short cut" to other parts of the globe), but ended up not quite in the expected place.

[For the uninitiated, the windswept Lost Isles of Elithis lie somewhere to the east of the Deserted Isles (that is about all that cartographers can agree on). It is not yet known who or what is Elithis. From what few reports we have, the main activity on the islands appears to be tending to the vast flocks of sheep that abound there.]

The brave ladies of course brought Blood Bowl with them, and it was only a matter of time before a band of plucky young lasses put together a "world tour". They were of course an instant hit with the fans, finding a ready market in those who prefer their wholesome if homely thigh-length sheepskin boots to the racy but raunchy thigh-length leather of another well-known team. CabalVision were keen to sign them up, as being the perfect way to fill that difficult early evening family viewing slot.

The Amazons of the Lost Isles of Elithis being less rabidly feminist than their Lustrian cousins, graciously allow their menfolk to play Blood Bowl from time to time. The less famous men's team is known as the Black Sheep.

[Editor's Note: For those not familiar with the sheep business, it might be wise to treat team members Crutcher and Shearer with "maximum respect".]
