Ylen Iaccath
From the fortress realm of Wydrioth.
Guardian of Wydrioth in the Open Skies phalanx.
Team Captain.

Background
Ylen is a member of the Wydrioth Guard. They protect the realm of Wydrioth against invading Dwarfs and Greenskins. Ylen served in the Open Skies phalanx, a first line of defense where the forest met the Grey mountains. Ylen was a veteran of war who had held the tree line for over twenty four years. He despised the inferior races who dares invades his home land. He had a particular disgust for Dwarfs. Short, fat and greedy, he thought.

Since the realm of Wydrioth is an embattled region, the King requested that the Wydrioth Guard appoint one of their more experienced warriors to lead the Royal football team under his son. The prestigious position was offered to Ylen who graciously accepted. He would continue to serve his King until the day he died.

Career
A tactic to break the cage (2020-10-17)
The Amazons kept protecting their ball carrier amidst a cage of players. We need a way to break it, thought Team Captain Ylen. After some consulting with the coaching team, they devised a plan to crack the cage and strip the ball carrier of the ball.

Duke Ziadas Lendynra
Duke from the prosperous realm of Talsyn.
Nephew of King Tudirgian.
The Warden of Talsyn.

Background
Ziadas belongs to the Royal family. He is the nephew of King Tudirgian. He was born the Warden of Talsyn. The title meant he was expected to ward over the woods of Talsyn, the seat of the Royal family. Although a very glorious title, Ziadas sought more adventure.

When he overheard his father and the King speak of a secret Royal football team that would tour the world and bring glory to the Elves, his interest was peaked. He requested to be drafted to the team. His father was hesitant at first, considering his title, but honored that the King would consider hand picking Ziadas for the team. His father and the King finally decided that he'd join the team in exchange for his complete discretion. Aedos must not know of the secret team before his becoming of age...

Career
The Duke has Nerves of Steel. (2020-10-18)
Duke Ziadas are getting used to going deep into the opponent's zone. Surrounded by enemies, he catches the ball and makes a leap for the touchdown. It didn't matter much how many opponents surrounded him.

If it's good enough for Ylen. (2020-10-17)
The tactics of stripping the ball from the ball carrier seems like a really good tactic. Especially when they cage up the carrier. If it's good enough for Ylen, then it's good enough for Ziadas!

Qiny Yeratin
Originally from Drûne in the prosperous realm of Talsyn.
Brought up in the meadows of the realm of Cavaroc.
Former thrower in The Dryads of Drûne.
Also known as Qiny of Drûne because of her heritage.

Background
Qiny is the only player drafted for the secret Royal football team that had any previous experience. She started out as a linewoman for The Dryads of Drûne, a team from her birth realm, and after five seasons she was promoted to the position of thrower after the previous thrower was stomped to death by five goblins.

Qiny was chosen by the Horse Lord of Cavaroc on the King's request and was bought out of her previous contract. While King Tudirgian did hire coaches to train the team, Qiny was vital for on-field pointers and for morale. Hopefully her expertise will prove useful until the other team members can gather some experience, apart from training.

Accurate

Yirles Sarlelvaf
From the land of light and wonder of the realm of Argwylon.

Background
King Tudirgian had been advised to keep training players for his son's football team. The team would eventually expand, and if players were hurt beyond physician Qynyleh's help they would need replacement.

Yirles entered the training program for the Royal Football Team quite late and was not among the first batch to leave Athel Loren. Her training was not quite completed when Aedos sent word for more players, but she had enough skills with the ball to qualify for the position of Thrower.

Career
A solid offensive strategy. (2020-10-18)
A new strategy formed itself during the last game. While Yirles kept the ball far back into their own zone, the Wardancers went deep. When they were in touchdown range, Yirles hurled them the ball over the heads of the opponents. Touchdown!

Usco Valaka
From the realm of Torgovann, the Forge of Starlight.

Background
For as long as anyone can remember the Valaka family had been smiths. Usco's two older brothers were both journeyman smiths while Usco was in charge of quality. Every blade or spear that left their family forge was inspected, wielded and thoroughly tested by Usco himself. All the time spent wielding weapons had made him both agile and hard as rock.

Usco was hand picked by the Lord of Torgovann to be trained for the secret Royal football team, to be revealed on the becoming of age of the youngest prince. Usco's nomination had already brought great honor to the Valaka family. Hopefully his time on the field would do the same.

Arien Yenranvas
From the prosperous realm of Talsyn.
Former captain in the Athel Loren army.

Background
Arien served under late Prince Elavenduil in the Athel Loren army. She was there the day Elavenduil fell in battle against the army of the Son of Wrath. She attended the ceremony in Tirsyth where they erected a statue to commemorate him. It was there that Elavenduil's younger brother announced that the football team he just had been tasked to lead would be named after Elavenduil and carry his legacy.

Arien humbly requested that she would be allowed to continue to serve Elavenduil by playing in his team. Her request was accepted by Prince Aedos Lendynra himself. While Arien was a well trained warrior and leader, she had no previous experience of football and was a late entry into an already well trained team. She had much to prove.

Dhieshe Thesvalvyth
From the fortress realm of Wydrioth.
Widow of Cattos Thesvalvyth.

Background
Dhieshe is a ranger. She was once enlisted in a company of rangers, as was her husband, but she has since gone her own way. She is now a lone ranger.

Her company was ambushed on a mission to seek out a raiding band of Greenskins in the Grey Mountains. A warband of Greenskins led by War Boss Gralzor Bigtoof had set a trap. Half of her company had to give their lives before the other half could retreat back into the forest. Her husband gave his life that day.

The company regrouped and retaliated against the warband. They managed to kill off the majority of the Greenskins, but the War Boss was nowhere to be found. Dhieshe swore she would hunt down Gralzor and avenge her husband. The company considered the matter settled and were heading off, so she decided to become a lone ranger - a ranger that was not attached to any company.

The latest word she had gotten was that Gralzor had become a football coach for a fierce Greenskin Warband gone 'legit'. She sought a way to infiltrate the football tournament. As by the grace of The Ancients, a solution presented itself. The King had created a Royal football team in secret. All but one position on the team had been hand picked. The last position was offered to the winner of an exceptionally grueling trial deep in the woods of Athel Loren. Dhieshe knew the woods in and out and managed to secure the spot on the team. Time to find Gralzor Bigtoof and avenge Cattos!

Othon Tutraltaac
From the land of light and wonder of the realm of Argwylon.
A mage druid.

Background
Othon is a mage druid from the wonderous realm of Argwylon. There he tends to the forest, the creatures and the Treemen and Dryads.

In his early teens, Othon was out in the woods when he heard sounds of horses. He carefully approached the sound and bore witness to a group of heavily armored men on horseback. They were Bretonnian Knights, for sure, he thought. They were far into Athel Loren and awfully close to the borders of Arranoc, where they would be sacrificed if the step foot.

Suddenly, a huge Treeman stepped out in front of the knights. Huge and towering over them. He blocked their path. The knights charged the Treeman and set him afire. Othon watched the life leave the huge forest friend as he was left burning. That day had left deep scars in Othon's soul and he was bound to walk the path of the Druid.

Erviva Neltarrae
From the eternal summer realm of Arranoc.
Also known as the Wind of Winter.

Background
Arranoc is known as the eternal summer realm. The sun shines all year around, even when all other places are covered in darkness. Its inhabitants are especially secretive and do not allow any outsiders within their borders. Those outsiders that stray into Arranoc are graced by the sunshine before they are hunted down and sacrificed upon the Vaults of Winter.

Erviva was such a hunter. In fact, she was an exceptional hunter. It is said that outsiders can no longer feel the warmth of the sun in her presence. Instead, they are met by a cold winter wind. Even her fellow Elves claim to have felt it. Because of this, Erviva has become known as The Wind of Winter.

When the King asked the Lord of Arranoc to appoint their most skilled hunter for the secret Royal football team, there was no doubt as to who he would choose.

Career
The Nurgle was tougher than most (2020-10-17)
Most of the trespassers in Arranoc were Human or Orc. The Nurgle beasts in the last game was something completely different. But The Wind of Winter managed to refine her techniques, and hunting down monsters turned out to be no different in the end.

Viaci Dolaasco
From the eternal autumn realm of Tirsyth.
Most call him The Half-elf instead of his real name.

Background
Viaci Dolaasco was his name. his mother was an elf. His father was human. The elves of Tirsyth calls him Half-Elf, if they were in a good mood, and much worse if the were in a bad one. He wasn't allowed into the realm of Arranoc, for he was considered an outsider.

The Lord of Tirsyth, Arolkath Kioscornae, had contempt for the Royal family. His father had been slain by King Tudirgian in a dispute for the throne. Arolkath believed he was the rightful king, and his father before him. When the King had extended an olive branch to him and allowed him to appoint a player for the prince's secret football team, he had been both surprised and repulsed at the same time. As a mockery to the Royal family he appointed an outcast, a disgrace to the Elven race - a half-elf. Lord Arolkath appointed Viaci.

Viaci understood immediately why he had be selected for the team. But he chose to see it as an opportunity to show Tirsyth and the whole of Athel Loren that he was truly worthy of the position. That he was a true elf that could bring glory to the Royal Family.
