Cold, calculating, malicious....................are words you would never use to describe Ecoutan Vex.

A vampire of ancient ancestral bloodline, Ecoutan Vex has survived for millennia by living (or rather unliving) by the warrior codes perpetuated by knightly orders across the Old World. Rather than seeing humans as a cattle-like commodity as many of his kind so frequently do, he rather views them as children, just beginning to realise their potential within the scheme of things. Aside from his life as a mercenary commander, Vex roams from place to place, country to country protecting those in need of assistance. Few evil-doers stay around for long when the banner of the White Wolves is sighted on the horizon.

As a bloodbowl player, Ecoutan is equally genial. It is a long held belief that when the team first came on the scene they made a pact never to intentionally kill an opposition player (although accidents do happen from time to time). Instead he applies the rules laid down when the sport was first created many thousands of years previously, using skill rather than dirty tricks to win games.

The fact that neither he nor any member of his team has ever made a foul is not lost on the BBL Fair Play committee.

Ecoutan's older brother Exuan was a true monster of a man in life and is equally so in undeath, his massively muscled frame is more reminicent of a small ogre than a vampire. This fact makes him perfect for taking pride of place in the True Blood's line of scrimmage.

Despite his obvious bulk, Exuan is no slouch at running the ball, with his upholstered frame belying the fact that he can quite easily skip around you with the grace of an elf before laying into you with the strength of an ox.

The real playmaker of the Bowlers, Fyrian is charged with coming up with a wide variety of plays from executing a gracefully spiraling long bomb to perfoming a graceful one-and-a-half-twist with pike over the top of an opponent's baffled head.

In the White Wolves he takes on the role of artificer, seemlessly crafting and maintaining the company's wargear. It is no coincidence that his outfit on the field is by far the most elaborate out of the squad.

Fiann is the 'First Knight' of the White Wolves. It is his duty to carry the banner of the order into battle and to protect the sacred standard with his life. Similarly on the Blood Bowl field it is his task to ensure the pride of the company is upheld by defending the line against any assailents.

As with Exuan, Sollus appears to be of truely huge human stock and proudly takes his place in the line of scrimmage. His massive frame is suited primarily to defencive duties, maintaining the integrity of the line whilst the remaining players work their magic.

Exuan is rumoured to be one of a long line of Vexs who have been gifted the 'curse' of vampirism. He certainly shares the same genial, sportsman-like attitude and the devilishly strong playing abilities of his predecessors as well as their unfliching commitment to the Knightly code. Ecuan is often chosen to combine with both Fyrain and Ecoutan to form some truely spectacular plays.
