Freyar used to stand on the bridge and throw hatchets at his foes, today he is throwing Bloodbowl balls at his friends. It's a new situation for him, but his aim is slowly improving, although from time to time, old instincts creep back in and he seems to try to kill an opponent by throwing the ball straight at him.

Shrugged off an arm injury that would have left other man crippled for life.

"Better blitzing than with Blitzers."

The first linesmen the Drunken Ravens had, Wolf has done his work quietly and effective on the line of scrimmage but also along the sidelines as the lone wolf likes to hunt away from the pack. Was on the bench in the half against Kingsacre Tuesday Noontime BBC in which his friend Bear died. He hasn't forgiven himself for not being there to aid his comrade. The grim determination on his face whenever he takes the field speaks of his vow never to let similar things happen again.

Wolf is the fastest runner of the Drunken Ravens. And in a game against the Shadow Basiliks he used his speed to full effect when he blitzed the Dark Elves thrower, sacked him, picked up the ball and carried it into the endzone. Twice. A feat not matched by any of his peers and unheard of from a linesman.

Wolfs defense work is living proof that cool heads prevail over hotblooded blitzing when it comes to reliably shutting down an opponents offense, and often even the Drunken Raven Blitzers will step in line behind Wolf. A better illustration of his status in the team is unthinkable.

Holds 3 MVP awards, a record number for any Raven, linemen or others.

His two causalities were both inflicted on amazons and in the same game. Gato and Claws were badly hurt. Wolf specializes in dodging meat and he was hungry that day.

Wolf is the only linesmen who hasn't missed a single game yet.

The third Drunken Raven to wear the number 3. Mouses name might raise eyebrows, but it is a testament to his size and imposing stature that people never ever snicker when they adress the tall linesman by his name.

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Dog is quite old. And he holds the team record for highest number of games without having learned a single thing.

He's not bad, he's just very unremarkable in what he does. On the other hand, surviving for as long as Dog has as a Drunken Raven linesman is an achievement in itself.

Finally earned some acclaim as MVP in his 15th game for tripping up Bastet star blitzer Khan. He stopped short of crippling her, but it lead to the counter for the eventual 2-1 victory.

Dog hates Ice.

Ox took over for Goat after he had a close encounter with an orc and was unable to continue playing for the Drunken Ravens because he had displaced several important limbs, including his head.

Bruin is a bear of a man. Similar to Bear and Grizzley, who both happened to die in their third game for the Ravens. But don't tell Bruin. He might not like the thought of being just one more in a long line of expendable linesman with short life-expectancy.

In fact, there's some speculation that Bruin might be a brother of Bear and Grizzley, but Bruin himself won't speak out on the subject. Perhaps out of fear of invoking the family curse.

We'll see if he opens up after his third game. If he makes it that far... So far, he's had a better start than most Raven Linesman, being voted MVP in his second game, same as Bear (RIP) who went on to be brutally murdered in the very next game. We hope it won't prove to be a omen for Bruin.

Mighty Blow
The first man to fill any gap if the front line doesn't hold. Standing tall as a mountain, his towering presence gives strength to every warrior fighting by his side to be a unmovable rock when the waves come crashing in.

Has the highest number of TDs of any non-catcher and is the most lethal and hard-hitting player on his team.

Named Blackhand because he once punched a troll so hard his own hand turned black. But the troll didn't get back up for the rest of the game.

Ragnar has looked into the face of death and came back for more.

Fenrai is the Ravens primary man marker. Or elf-marker. Or orc-marker. Or ogre-marker. No matter the race or taste, if he sinks his teeth into you, he won't let go.

Jokingly refered to by the nickname of "Halflingkiller" by his norse brothers after stomping poor Elroy Foddhopkins into the ground in a game against Kingsacre Tuesday Noontime BBC who had earlier lethally fouled two Drunken Ravens. But Fenrai is out to earn himself a better nickname. "Orckiller" perhaps or "Trollslayer" would suit him just fine.

A werewolf smashed his hip, but Fenrai walked on as if nothing had happened.

The third of four original Blitzers of the crew that first stormed the Bloodbowl pitch, Bjorn Redbeard has not missed a single game and is known to dance the finger-dance better than any other Raven, drunk or sober, and has thrown more blocks than even the Big Bad Bull.

Recently joined the club of Ravens who have scored two touchdowns in one game as only the second non-catcher to achieve this feat and the first blitzer.

His name refers to his long, braided beard which, although blonde, always seems to end up blood-red and dripping after a good days fight.

No other Raven ever dodged through walls of defenders to sack the ballcarrier quite like him.

Replaced former Drunken Raven #11 Donner Greenspit who was killed by a halfling. Olaf hopes for a better fate than his predecessor. Death by Troll would be a improvement, as far as he is concerned.

Olaf is a cheerful guy and enjoys ale and song just as much as fighting. He's been known to crush fallen opponents under his enormous beer gut. A technique known as "Death by Olaf".

Younger brother of Munin. The twins have been playing for the Drunken Ravens since the start and are their original catcher duo. Between them they have been responsible for 18 of the Ravens 30 touchdowns.

He is by far the more impulsive and violent of the two brothers, going so far as killing a full-grown Kroxxigor because it had the gall to try to stop him from reaching the endzone. Hugin will push into any open gap, no matter how small, even in situations where his older sibling would have instead waited for his linesmen and blitzers to widen the breach first.

Older brother of Hugin. The twins have played for the Drunken Ravens from the start and are their original catcher duo. Munin holds the team-record for number of total touchdowns scored with 11 in 18 games.

The two or three minutes he has extra on his twin make Munin the more mellow, calm of the two brothers. Whereas his brother is a risk-taker, Munin is prone to hanging in the back perhaps for too long, while bidding his time until a opportunity presents itself. He will also do more of the dirty work for the team, helping out with blocks and closing gaps. An attitude which has brought him two MVP awards compared to his brothers zero.

Age has made him calm not reckless, even in the thick of battle. Hugin is known to keep his cool head and sure hand in all situations. On the occasions where he does get himself into danger, he proves his resilience. When a Amazon Block pinched his nerve, he simply unpinched it.

The original Minotaur.

Maimed, smashed, killed and ate his first victim in a game against the Kingsacre Tuesday Noontime BBC, halfling Nurf MacGerf. If only Big Bad Bull would do such stuff more often instead of standing around like a oaf!

In one game, it took five elves to take him down and a foul to keep him there for longer than a breath. He stood back up and played the rest of the game to the end, but later on the healer discovered that the attack had had a greater effect on Big Bull than it initally seemed.

Age caught up with him faster than expected, just when he had grown into a force to be reckoned with, but the Drunken Ravens can't afford to retire him yet. He still has to father a strong bull of a son and wait for him to grow up to be his successor.

A pack of werewolves trying to hunt themselves some nice steak for dinner left Big Bad Bull with yet another scar and continuing pain. One step closer to the retirement home.
