Rooey died on the pitch on a rainy day to the hand of a minotaur blocker who was killed only minutes later by the thousands of 4th' fans who stormed the pitch in a frenzy.
This day inspired a new generation of bloodbowl players to sign up for the human teams, and Human Bloodbowl teams as we know them were formed.

Freddy is one of those most unlikely players, he never touched a football until 18 years of age when he actually sprinted over hundreds of fans just to get a ball that was thrown to the audience by Lard.
He managed to dodge the greedy arms and claws of goblins and beastmen alike and actually had to flee down to the pitch, where the coach immediately spotted the talent and signed him up for the 4th Dimension.

After the blitzers whining in a previous game which resulted in the hiring of an ogre "Gray" backfired. He threatened with leaving the team before he'd see boneheaded ogres on the team.

The blitzers dared him to go stand in front, and proud as a Duke he went pumping some iron just to show them pesky blitzers how it's supposed to be done..

The stories about Donny's upbringing are vast, some people claim that he got dropped by his mother a lot and others that his father used him for boxing practise.
Whatever the reason, his fury is so far unmatched in the 4th dimension history, he unleashes his rage upon as many opponents as he can during a game not even considering the risks.
He has a habit of taking on the big opponents, if they are absent he actually takes on two small ones instead...

Jack Lard junior started playing bloodbowl just in time, Jack Lard senior just died on the pitch falling on his head trying to go for it in the an effort to make a draw for the 4th Dimension.

Junior has sworn to go down like a hero just the way his old pa did.

Another janitor from the "Hall of 4 Dimensions", 4th Dimension's home arena has been drafted to join the team on the pitch.
