The Eater of Rerolls has found his true calling with the team. Tying up big guys with his face for as long as possible.

Mongo's history with his Coach is. Complicated, initially it was a good investment, a big tough player in a league full of lightly armoured pansies, a big fist to swing fights in his favor was a sound investment.

And it would be, but the Coach got Mongo instead. Mongo despite his best efforts at picking up skills is probably the worst blocker on the team, who can't seem to stop blocking punches with his face and forgets where he is at inopportune times, it results in a very tenuous relationship where at least one 'GOD DAMNIT MONGO' can be heard screamed from the stands at least once per match.

AKA, God Damnit Mongo, For Fuck Sake Mongo, King of Dubskulls, Eater of Reroll, The Broken Clock, The Inconsistant, Punchbag.

The one thing on this team that keeps the coach from losing the last of his frayed wits, Nigel more often then not can be relied on to not choke when the coach very desperately needs him not to. Just as capable of running the ball in himself as he is passing off to another player Nigel is an important cornerstone of the team.

Once the ball is out of his capable hands however, it's all down to the capricious whims of an uncaring, and merciless god of random chance.

Disappointment hangs over Andy like a shroud, in the grand hierarchy of The Lads he sits just below skill-less linemen in the order of importance. He rarely, if ever sees the pitch due to the coach realizing that his previous position in a defensive drive, could just have easily been filled by a lineman, and that his ideal roll on the offensive drive, is filled by his vastly superior counterpart Nigel.

Now he languishes in the dugout box existing only as the backup thrower in the case that worse comes to worse and Nigel is taken off the pitch. Which wouldn't be so bad, if the coach didn't hold him in utter contempt for his seeming inability to pick up the ball, let alone throw it and would move heaven and earth to ensure Nigel stays on the pitch over Andy coming on it.

Noddy Clubfoot is the 2nd catcher of the Lads. And much like the other 'second' positions on the team he always seems to never perform as well as his counterpart.

It is not his fault for the most part, he learned the Nuffle Shuffle at the same time as Barnibis, and can pull it off just as well as he can but the knee, it's always the knee. In a league full of nasty vicious buggers with sharp knives and mailed fists, a lightly armoured player is a risk. A lightly armoured player more suspect-able to getting knocked out to a bad block or dodge is a liability, that the coach only affords because a pair of side-step catchers is an incredibly valueable asset, in a league where the progression of players is left mostly to chance.

If there are two players the Coach had faith in more then anything, it would be Nigel, and Bloody Barstool Barnibis. Between the two of them, they had scored the most Touchdowns in the Lads, and alongside fellow Catcher Noddy Clubfoot were players of notoriety in the 3SL.

Slabhead is fast. Every other Blizter had some manner of Talent, but Slabhead's is that he can run fast. Something that would make you assume that he also would be considered a decent ball carrier. The twist is that Slabhead has an incredibly poor rate of actually catching or picking up the ball which has turned into one of the Coach's many, many triggers for violent rage.

The most infamous of which was the first match of The Lads versus The All-Stars, in which what was to be an easy hand off to equal up the score, turned into a horrendous cock-up that resulted in what would have been a 2-1 to the Lads into a 2-1 for the All-Stars. Something that the Coach keeps in the back of his head, every time he considers a pass to Slabhead

Self appointed leader of The Lads, Bigly holds the valueable 2nd reroll of the The Lads in his hands and the Coach would do anything to ensure he stays on.

A sentiment that backfired horribly, when after patching up Bigly from a foul in which he was only badly hurt, "The Monumental Cock-Up of Season 2" followed soon afterwards, in which Lad Veteran players '"Haud Yer Wheesht" Darrel' and 'The Shifty Geezer' Died, Nigel received a crippling collar bone injury, and Andy got a smashed jaw, forcing the Coach to use his valuable Potion to ensure that at least one thrower would be available for the last game of the season.

Suffice to say, Bigly is not in good books right now.

Kludge is a member of the Old Guard, and also the very first player on the Lads to level up from an MVP. He was also the first immediately regretted choice for a skill up, as the coach realized a little too late, that a fairly average movement speed player in a league full of otherwise fast and agile teams with Shadowing, was neither use nor ornament except for the occasional spree of unlucky rolls from the opposition.

Nonetheless, he has his place on the roster as a lineman brought out on the defensive to stick next to potential ball runners in the hopes that maybe they fail their dodge rolls, or fail to get away from him.

One of the Old Guard of the team, around since it's inception and has been in almost every match played by the Lads.

And yet, he is the only member of this old guard to have not leveled up, or even gained any star player points for that matter, something that despite the coaches best efforts, doesn't seem to be correctable any time soon.

Cursed by a hedge wizard at a very young age to grow no teeth, Gummy is at the same time one of the most important players on the team, and the most likely member to be knocked out first because of it.

The coach has been funding his Obscura habit by taking bets on when Gummy will be put into the K.O box, and how long it will be until he comes out of it. So far the odds are on 'Not until the end of the match'.

A member of the Old Guard, but no one can quite remember his name so he is referred to solely as 'That Guy'.

It has been rumored that when 'That Guy' is not a fairly adequate lineman in a fairly average human team, that he is instead, a fairly adequate mid-carder in a fairly medium sized wrestling circuit, but no one really cares for ask for his statement on the matter.

Grimy was one of 3 players brought in after the "Monumental Cock-Up of Season 2" that was the 2nd match of The Lads versus The Stabbers. In addition to two new Lineman, The coach also needed a new Blitzer and so he went to the toughest and roughest bar in the town, kicked off a bar-fight, waited until there was one man left, and offered him a job.

Suffice to say Grimy came in to replace someone the coach considered extremely valuable to the team and he knows it. He has a weight of expectations on his shoulder to continue where Darrel left off.

Previously voted 'Most Likely Player to be put up for Free Transfer' now the only tackler on the team, Twitchy Dan's term with the team gets extended for just a little further until someone else rolls Tackle.

Not helped by the fact that Twitchy Dan is tied to Gummy for Linemen who just cannot stay on the pitch. At the very least Dan has an excuse due to past injuries, but the fact that he has those injuries, and that Gummy has an incredibly value-able skill that is always useful, compared to his which is occasionally useful Twitchy Dan is one roll of Tackle on a skill table, or one more permanent injury away from being put on the chopping block again.

The Coach was out in the market for two new Lineman, and ended up with a pair of them. Big Chuck, and his smaller sibling Little Chuck, were brought in to replace 'Ardcase and The Shifty Geezer, the former whose death the coach only really noticed 3 games after he had died, and the latter one of the casualties in "The Monumental Cock-Up of Season 2".

One of the two new linemen brought in for the end of Season 2, to fill in gaps in the roster left by dearly departed players. Little Chuck's first mistake was coming in with his shoelaces undone, something that made him quickly repremended by the Coach, after the Shifty Geezer, the most experienced Lineman on the Lads, died from a failed Going For It roll on the pitch versus The Stabbers in 'The Monumental Cock Up of Season 2'.

He has taken to wearing slip-ons instead.

Gaffer Tom was brought in with 'Ardcase, after the coach realized he could play the system of requiring veteran experience before being granted reroll privileges to his advantage, by hiring some nobody shmucks off the street for pennies to sit in the dugbox and rack up games towards his first 100 game milestone.

His intention to just sack them afterwards faltered when they turned out to actually be quite good at their job and so Tom and 'Ardcase were kept on the squad. Sadly 'Ardcase has since perished in a match versus the Nicholas Cage Fanclub, leaving Tom as the last remaining recruit of the 2nd Recruitment phase.
