No i think your parents are right, 2 pounds for NBA LIVE.I think your parents should have grounded you for two years for even thinking of buying that game.
Think yourself lucky you got off lightly. |

Your parents job is to teach you patience. If you don't have £2, you don't... when you grow up noone will give you money without you earning them...
Hail your parents! |

my advice, spend the whole weekend doing housework and do so for your £2. ur parents will be so shocked they will certainly agree. however if u are old enough to save up the cash, u are also old enough to understand that there are other expenses in the household other than your games.
and, get a job if u can for a sunday morning (newspapers etc) and u will find ur parents appreciate it and don't complain, and they have no saying in your expenditures (which will be important when u reach 1 |

When I get kids they won't get a penny without earning it, just like I didn't get it. It teaches them/me the value of money and that you cannot always get what you want. |

A day in your future, your son will come and ask you for 20 £ (inflation runs... ) to buy a special cartridge for the laser holo projector...
He asked for it with strong attitude, perhaps arguing ...
What will you answer ?
Your judgement now is part of your role of son, you will be able to have a more objective point of view, when you will be in your parents' shoes...
Too serious... perhaps. |
