ELF games for Superiors
Category A (Brutal)
Game 1: Khemri 3-1
What a fun game. I had two casualties in the first two turns. It looked like a shut out when BAM, 4 BH for him in 1 turn. I still managed to score (of course I did, I am ELF.) but I couldn't stop the Khemri from scoring. 56 points
Game 2:
Category B (Strong)
Game 1: Orcs 2-2 Tie I was lucky to get out alive. Nuffle was shining on me. Fama could have beaten me 3-1. My attention wasn't on the game and it showed. Next time we play it will be better played. 15 points

First game of the season, and its a loss. I was outplayed really, the only excuse I can make is that I've been away from elfbowling a while and have been trying to play with other races instead. 8 points

Little shameless plug...the E.L.F. Season VI is about to come to a close this Dec 31! Wow, a year old already! And the group has never had more membership, nor such active membership--playing games vs non-elves, reporting victories, bringing the elven way of ball to the fumbbl community at large. If you want to improve your standing, you only have til midnight fumbbl time Dec 31 to play and report, then the Season VI champions will be crowned and everybody's score returns to zero. That's right, YOU will have a share in first place! Think you can keep it?
For anybody new to the idea of E.L.F. and has questions, just ask any current group member or PM me any/all questions you may have. The more elves in fumbbl who reject the image of a "pansy-player" just knock, and the door will be opened! |

Since I probably won't win on points, I'll try it another way
Admittingly, it's kinda late in the season for a change, but still.
I'd like to point out that EMU is no longer active, and it hasn't been since october when the last season ended.
So, why are there still double points awarded ? Doesn't make much sense to me, and it has a way to big impact on the total score anyway.
Anyway, when there is no EMU it seems strange to me that there still would be awarded double points for teams that previously were EMU. They are just like any normal team now, hence not worth double points.
Edit: The best man won, Rijssiej earned his victory with some hard victories late in the season. |

I disagree, teams join the EMU with the express intent of injuring elves. All their skills are thereafter bent on that aim, often to the detriment of game-winning skills. End the EMU season, does that team's skills suddenly shift into "safe" types? No, the team is still built to maim. As such, double points (or triple for EMU Cat A teams) will continue to be awarded, regardless the current status or non-status of the EMU. If you feel a conscience attack about reporting a team as EMU, simply don't. If you're going to track down all teams that others declare as EMU...you obviously have too much free time on your hands.
Sorry for getting this out late, but the final results for Season VI are in...
Cat A Champion: Hunted by Destiny
Cat B Champion: Startrek.nl
Cat C Champion: Pro Elf
Cat D Champion: Startrek.nl
Cat E Champion: Startrek.nl
Grand Champion: Startrek.nl
These wood elves will simply not lay down and die, no matter who or what they take on! If you haven't checked them out yet, you really should, esp their match record...see the team's they've faced, the adversity they've overcome, and I'm sure you'll agree they've earned a spot as one of fumbbl's legendary teams, regardless race! Congratulations! |
