I thought it might be nifty if the stats pages included a Top 10 for Teams. It could look something like this:
Top 10 Teams
Best Team = Teams with the highest ratings
Best Winning % = Baseball-style 3 digit win %
Best Offense = TDs scored/games played
Best Deffense = TD against/games played
Most Vicious = CAS inflicted/games played
Most Popular = Highest FF
It seems that the Awesome Alliterators Anonymous hacked into the database, but thankfully they were stopped before they changed the categories to Tantalizingly Terrific Teams, Wonderfully Wacky Winning %, Outlandishly Obscene Offense, Decisively Deterring Defensive, Veritably Vicious Victimizers, Prominantly Praiseworthily Popular.
I thought it would be best to limit it to 6 categories like the Top 10 Players Page. Feel free to suggest other categories (Most Popular could be dropped).
On a technical note. If it's too CPU intensive, perhaps it could be generated daily during non-peak times.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'd like there to be a minimum number of games played limit to several of the categories, though, so that a team that has won its only game 10-0 isn't at the top of every category. |

It would be even niftier if the lists could be limited by groups or coaches in the same way that the regular top 10 can be limited on race. Then there could be nice top 10 lists for leagues and tournaments - perfect for those post-season awards! |
