The current system works so long as TS is an accurate reflection of real strength. Ogres aside - it does seem accurate.
The only mismatches Ive been invloved with have been with my gobbos (with a couple of irrelevant guys mng) getting to beat on rookies or recovering teams. |

With a 1-1 tie as the result. What, exactly, is the problem? Number of matches is not really relevant. Yes, it's a large TR difference, enough for four handicaps, and the ogres ended up fielding six players for most of the match. |
