First time I have come across this.

Got matched in Box only to find that my opponent has just started a ranked game. And by just started I mean within seconds of the Box draw from what I can tell. Now maybe I will have time to play him later but if not I am curious about how I free up my team if I need to?

Thanks

You treat the game the same as a dropped connection. If you do decide you want to be unscheduled contact an admin and ask them to do it for you.

Hmm...
That's an annoying opponent then..
Blacklist him, and contact an admin to get the issue resolved.

The rules say a player cannot play 2 people at once, within the agreement of both first, so they broke the rules.

Send in a ticket.

Yes, I was quite annoyed, not sure how common this kind of thing is. Unfortunately I don't think the Box scheduler takes the Blacklist into account. If I am wrong about that, that would be really cool.

It doesn't take the blacklist into account, because that could potentially unhinge the whole black box concept. If you want to avoid coaches on your blacklist, ranked is the place to be.

I wouldn't worry about that aspect of things too much, I'm sure the Admins will take appropriate actions against coaches that make a habit of skipping matches in [B].

kind of funny how that hapens. I got scheduled with a guy who 'forgot' he activated. It's a whole 5 min from activate to draw so I guess he has a short attention span. We got the game finished a couple days later, but still annoying t ohave to wait.
