At the end of a Round Robin tournament, when the top 2 teams have equal points, who is the winner?
Does the website do a coin toss or the team that has a name that is alphabetical ahead wins?
Please answer only if you are absolutely sure about this matter.
Thanks! |

Well in my experience it is not based on alphabetical. In one of my tournaments both teams ended on 9 points with Buddy's Blitzing Eagles listed at top of the table... but according to the website the winner is Nunsense.
The Nuns won 4 games and tied 1.
The Eagles won 3 games plus 1 forfeit win and tied 1.
Is it because of the forfeit win? I can't be sure as it could be to do with touchdowns (9 vs 6) or TD difference (+5 vs +3). I haven't checked CAS.
Does someone know the answer? |
