Aye, a pirates must have a captain. Maybe make him
ma 5 st 3 ag3 av7, dodge, foul appearance, leader and piling on (I would really like to see some non BG player start with it) with g and a access. Cost 90k?
And ball&chain player with block and mightyblow is devastating thing to opponent team. That gives them sooooo much extra punch.
Mots
edit: maybe not that leader skill after all, though it would suit to a fluff very well. |

Give the pirate captian mighty blow or a claw... he has a hook for a hand!
(keep him St2 and stunty though) |

I must admit I didn't know about this phobia about water. Where is that mentioned? |

Yes I think all halflings by nature are land living farmer types and try to avoid water at all costs. But these are desperate times and halflings are set to rule the world! So naturally they must conquer all parts of the world
I admit the Ogre would not be too much fun in the team, just thought that it would be fluffy. An Ogre with Bomb to represent the Harpoon. Possibly add in Strong Arm.
And yes the Captain is a must with a Claw (Hook!!!) |

Yep, claw for a hook is a good suggestion.
Added it, open for suggestions on it of course. He should have G access to, but I don't see it as a problem if this team has 3 G access players since they will likely take heavy casualties and are a bit understrengthened in the offensive. |

No foul appearence? (It will help keep your best player alive) |

Pirate ogre star needed at least!
If you want an ogre throwing an anchor, why not make him:
5 5 2 9 Big Guy, Bone Head, Mighty Blow, Thick Skull, Throw Team-Mate, Pass, Bombs, Shadowing
Not sure how much he should cost. |

I think this would be a team that, in difference to gnomes, would actually make good use of their flings...and stunty league without flying flings is just wrong. But admittedly there are some fluff issues about mass amounts of halfling pirates |

Its quite cool in its own way. The halflings are definately "happy" halflings and have some quite lovable positionals.
The trouble is that it incorperates the best of halflings with the best of pirates, but fluffwise they just arent meant to go together. |
