I like it. A very fun idea. A bit weak on some spots perhaps or, as many have said, not as strong as other stuntys.
A fun idea to go with the fluff would be to give the gorger physical acess reflecting on them living in warpstone infested caves. Perhaps lowering them to 0-1 would be an idea in that case. But then perhaps all gnobblar teams would have that one gorger and something else...or it would be part of the variations with the team. Specialising in different things.
Just a thought. |

Seems ok , not too strong . Future "must have that team"- race.
hmmmm.. Maybe Ma 6 to gnoblar or 6 trappers instead 4.
They can´t run away and they can´t over power any of " 2 BG and rest are ST2" races |

This team looks like a great idea and I would really like to see them in stunty. Also to represent the Gorgers better give them TTM and Always Hungry. Also access to Physical Traits would be a must because of the warpstone fluff. Basically they would be similiar to a Mino but not quite as powerful(less AG no Horns). Hopefully one of the stunty creator admins will get a look at this and maybe we could actually see this team in stunty. Also with a high number of str 1 players shouldn't the team be allowed 3 big guys like the other str 1 teams(aka Fairies, Snotlings). |

The scrapalauncher is a massive rhino drawn catapult like warmachine so i don't think it really fits into bloodbowl.
|
You could make a player similar to a gnome cannon... something with low MV, decent ST, AG, and AV. Add TTM, Always Hungry and Hail Mary Pass (Blunderbuss wouldn't really fit). Allow access to Passing skills.

I would have liked to have worked in the ogres ravenouse apetite in some way
|
Give them all TTM along with Always Hungry. If you did that, though, I think the Iron Guts would have to increase in price by 10K.
I'd also give Trappers Right Stuff, and allow Gorgers access to P (aren't they exactly like Rat Ogres without 2 AG though?... is the price right?).
Overall seems like an interesting concept, although the familiar "2 BG + 9 stunties" isn't as appealing to me. I feel as though the team would have more depth without the Big Guys, with the catapult, and playing up the tentacles... you'd need to develop another positional or two, though. Otherwise, the playing style won't be unique at all, and I'd rather play with a similar but stronger team (e.g., Halflings, Chaos Flings, Goblins, etc.).
I do like the Ogre varieties, although I'd like to see them off the team. The most unique and interesting part of the team to me is the Trappers. Keep tweaking and begin playtesting when you feel the roster is complete.

I want forrest gobbos with netters and clubbers and spider riders. Like squig hoppers but with enough changes to make them different, for example:
0-2 netters Goblin 6 2 3 7 Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Guard
0-2 clubbers Goblin 6 2 3 7 Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, mighty blow
0-3/4 spiders 6 4 2 6 Claw, Really Stupid
0-12 gobbos 6 2 3 7 Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff |

Almost forgot: what are RR costs, and what about Apoth and Wizard access? I don't think I saw any of that information.

Congrats thmbscrws! That's the best proposal I've seen. It's nice to see a proposal that is very well thought out and shows a good grasp of stunty team design. A million times better than most of the stuff that gets posted.
1. Good job translating the Fluff into stats.
2. It's nice to see you took pains not to duplicate other teams schticks. Bonus points for your Unique approach to Big Guys. Stunty afterall is all about Big Guys.
3. A combo of ST1 and ST2 players is a likely to result in a Novel playing style.
Looks FUN!
A few suggestions:
1. I'd be tempted to tweak the Trappers because I am using the Tentacles schtick for my Horrors. I'd be tempted to go with Diving Tackle or even upgrade it to Tackle and adjust the numbers as appropriate for balance purposes.
2. I'd give serious consideration into making sure that there is real choice between the different Ogre types. I'd hate for all teams to look alike because there is one obvious choice. |

I think the ogres should stay. Ogres are to much a part of gnoblar fluff to have a gnoblar team without them just doesn't feel right. Without the ogres they are just another random stunty thing. As far as giving the Gorger Physicals goes i didn't do it because then they would become to much of an automatic choice for the team with the potential for RSC. Basing the team around a warmachine robs to much from the gnomes and there cannon if you ask me and on top of that if you saw the picture of the damn thing it would barely fit inside a bloodbowl stadium let alone be allowed on the field. Giving them three big guys would probably make them too good but as it is they are probably to weak so they would need a few tweaks up.
As far as making them better goes maybe uping the movement would be a good idea. Make the team more based around scoring. Use your tentacles to tie up the opposing players and then run a little guy in for a quick td could be an effective strategy. So upping the mv on the base guys to six would make that work pretty well. Not sure what else to do with them but I really like the ogres so i think they should stay. |

Nice work thmscrws. I like the interchangeable Big Guys to customize your team. The fluff is great and I like the description of relevant skills based on warhammer characters. Although I really love tentacles as a skill, tackle may be a suitable equivalent for the trappers. I guess it makes little difference either way (unless Evo is planning on unveiling the Horrors soon I know they were on his website, but I do not remember seeing them in the forum). I would be interested in seeing P skills access on Ogres you consider to be affected by the warpstone. It looks like a fun team to play. |

Yeah nice work! But how about giving the trappers some tracking ability with shadowing just to make them real pest for the other team. Since they have ma 4 it would not be too strong but still fun. |
