That's easy enough without even announcing. Opponent challenges, he checks team, finds dirty player, says no thanks. Free challenging in ranked so it's within his rights.
He's actually being courteous as teams with dirty player will know not to challenge and thus saves time as all they would get anyway would be: "no".
No rule in fumbbl forces you to play against dirty players. |

He's just trying to help you not waste your time by challenging him if you have DP or star player in your team. You should be praising him for being so considerate rather than crucifying him. The guy's a saint. You should try to sort out some sort of award for him. |

Ranked is: "The main competetive division and the largest one on FUMBBL. Free choice of opponents, a ranking system and regular tournaments."
Notice words free choise of opponents. Not "you must accept challenge of any team killer that wants to kill your team next" or even "you must accept first challenge you are offered". No. It's FREE choise of opponents. Rules are quite specific. |

Actually, I sort of agree with Big Mac. But then, I don't buy into the ridiculous dogma that Ranked must be totally open, at the expense of it remaining a vibrant, competitive league.
OTOH, I might just hire a SP after accepting a challenge from this guy (Borak maybe?), just to get the concession money and fat pile of cash. What's his FF? Whatever he says in his bio holds no weihght once the game is agreed to (however, a ponce like this would be about the only time I wouldn't frown on such sneaky tactic). |

Im not sure why you need to call out a specific coach when there are many examples of this and your quote from the team page is the only information needed for discussion.

The coach is effectively documenting the types of teams he is willing to play up-front. There can be no in-game tactics rules violation if a coach chooses to not play another team because of the other team's makeup. There is no game played, thus no in-game to speak of.

The coach's quote states nothing about disconnection. How is the coach being abusive then?
I also think it is abusive to twist someone else's words.

You assume your opinion is of high value and relevance to FUMMBLErs.
The difference between this coach and many others is that he is honest up-front about which teams he plays so there is no time wasted. Most coaches have criteria about what they will accept in a challenge beyond what the rules restrict(+/-40TS). |

I think I'll put this label on my teams: "Please dont challenge me, if you have reservations about the skill Dirty Player - if I dont have a dp on the team right now, it's my bad and I apologise for my lack of integrity" |
