Well... Bandit...
The orcs finished the gobbos 4-2 and are fully prepared (another aging on our thrower  ) for the finals
The last remaining match of the season is the darkies facing the chaos dorfs to determine the last 3 places for the play-offs (and who is gonna play each other)
Til now we have the following matches in the first final round:
Chaos - Amazon
High Elf - Wood Elf
And the 4 other teams: Orcs, Dark Elf, Chaos Dwarf and Undeads |

I hope for a draw between the chaos dorfs and the darkies. I'd rather face of against the orcs and get 2 handicaps then going up against either of the CD's or the darkies. |

Yarrr!!!
After some problems playing the last rounds matches, the gobbos ended their walk trough the Painasonic League facing the Big Brodas: Sysiphos Orcs.
It all started really well for the gobbos, taking the lead in the first half with 2 TDs. Then, in the second half with an average of 5 players in the field, we could only watch how the orcs hit and run for an amazing number of 4 TDs.
Anyways, we did so much better than we could have imagined, and finished the league in a meritory penultimate position.

I'd like to congratulate Sysiphos for managing the league, it's been real fun. Good luck for all the playoffers!

Player of the Week Award candidates round 11:
Exene for a touchdown and a casualty!
Tim for causing two casualties!
Currag, the goblin with a completion and a touchdown!
Girald Goblinsen, another Goblin, scoring two touchdowns!
Bellmann for scoring two touchdowns!
Advanced... for a touchdown and two casualties!
After the finals have been played... my thoughts are to set a limit for TR (maybe 175) and give all coaches and teams the posyibility to refresh their existing team or come with a new one. Also some coaches would like to change their race (Curro from gobbos to flings  ). I would like to stay with the 1 team per race policy and keep the mix of teams like we had now. What do you think?`For the starting date i would suggest mid/end of october. Pls post here if you are interested or not in playing a second season, i need this information for the planning procedure.

Congratz for all of you who made to the finals, people! I tried hard but it was difficult. 
My last vote for the frnezy player goes for Currag! my Gobbo! I really want that award!
And regarding the next season, if we have coaches enough, we could separate the teams in two divisions, for fresh ones and for developed ones. if not, my flings wont have any chance.... |
