The RFAdvantage Rankings ~ WEEK 5!
The RFA ratings are here, and we know you have been dying to see them!

The RFAdavantage . The MOST accurate team ranker by week!

1. AirForce 3-2-0 (.818) Up from rank #4
~ AF sneaks into the #1 spot bypassing some good programs. The two non wins on their record will allow for contention when it comes to talking about justification for the title game. They can continue to make a solid case against a good top 8 Arizona team they matchup well against next week.
+5 TD +4 casualties (+9 net) #7 AZ next week

2. Pain 3-2-0 (.800) Stayed at #2
~ The Pain holds steady at #2 with an undefeated record. They had a chance to lock up the #1 spot if they won, but they continue to not lose and stay as a top team this season. They can put up a win this week vs. the lowest ranked NCBB team and still drop in the standings if one of the teams close behind put up a great week 6 win.
+4 TD +12 casualties(+16 net) #20 Bama

3. Black Knights 4-0-1 (.773) Up from #6
~ The Knights (who don't say 'nee', in case you didn't know) are putting together what may end up as another run to the title match having just 1 blemish on an otherwise perfect season, healthy and carrying the best TD differential in the league. They will face a dangerous Ohio squad in week 6. This will likely be the game that will determine if they get a title shot
+7 TD +2 casualties (+9 net) #11 Ohio next week

4. Missou 3-1-1 (.764) Down from #1
~ Missou suffered a shocking upset last week, but have put up great performances even in defeat that we still have them in the top 4 and hunting for a title bowl game. If you have counted them out after Hawaii, you are sorely mistaken. Look for them to be on the warpath against what would otherwise have been a trap game in Vampyland.
+4 TD -2 casualties (+2 net) #15 Vampy

5. Nevada 2-3-0 (.757) Down from #3
~ Nevada has refused to lose this season, but if they could have beaten Ohio last week, we would likely be talking about them as favorites for a title shot right now, instead of as a solid contender. Still dangerous and looking to recruit players from any team they face. Nevada should pick up a win but not a lot of ground vs. Bumble U. next week
+2 TD +4 casualties (+6 net) #17 Bumble next week

6. U.Con. 3-1-1 (.745) Up from #7
~ U.Con.'s putting together a quietly effective season. While not a top threat this season, they have just one loss and can be a handful for many teams to deal with.
+0 TD +6 casualties (+6 net) #10 Hawaii next week

7. AZ GGW 2-3-0 (.736) Down from #5
~ The girls are still delivering the pain to any team they face, tied with the top casualty differential in the league. The non surprising tie to Cali dropped them just one spot. They can pick up a lot of ground, but face a team that may just be designed as the GGW nemesis in #1 AirForce
+4 TD +12 casualties (+16 net) #1 AF next week

8. Cali 2-2-1 (.692) Stayed at #8
~ Cali may have dreams of a title run, but we think this past weeks non-win will exclude them from the title game. They just haven't come up big enough in the games they needed to win. Not to mention they are looking like the Cali of old with a negative Cas differential.
+2 TD -2 casualties (+0 net) #5 AZ next week

9. Oregon State 2-2-1 (.685) Stayed at #9
~ Oregon State played big last week and secured a tie vs. the current #2 team in the nation. The only reason they didn't jump Cali in the national standings is due to their inability to deliver either TDs or casualties, and the RFA isn't sure how they will be able to continue to win games going forward.
+1 TD +0 casualties (+1 net) #13 Oregon next week

10. Hawaii 3-0-2 (.674) Up from #13
~ Hawaii comes off a big win vs. Missou last week and jumps three spots, while I am sure Hawaii fans wanted more, we have to recall that they are still a two loss team that just garnered their first winning record of the season.
+0 TD +4 casualties. (+4 net) #6 U.Con. next week

11. Ohio 2-1-2 (.639) Stayed at #11
~ While Ohio is likely happy to have tied the #3 team in the nation, they showed us that they are prone to injury and still can't lay claim to anything better than a non-losing record. they will have to show jus more as they once again face the #3 seed, this time in the Black Knights.
+2 TD +2 casualties (+4 net) #3 Black Knights next week

12. TCU 2-0-3 (.594) Down from #10
~ TCU will likely bounce around in this area this season, win some lose some, come out with a .500ish record. Expect them to remain a threat to upset some teams wile losing to other teams you would expect them to beat.
+3 TD -9 casualties (-6 net) # 19 Stanford next week

13. Oregon Waterfoul 2-0-3 (.579) Up from #14
~ While we appreciate that Oregon has just beaten TCU, they still boast a negative TD AND Cas differential. These are not your fathers ducks! They will try to flatten out their record against instate rivals OState, and keep their 'bill'ing as best in Oregon.
-2 TD -10 casualties (-12 net) #9 O State next week

14. Fresno 2-0-3 (.577) Down from #12
~ Fresno who started the season and looked to be a solid bowl team is now hoping to gather enough wins to get invited to any bowl this season. Their recent loss to AirForce sent the two teams in drastically different directions.
-3 TD +9 casualties (+6 net) #16 HSU next week

15. Vampy 2-0-3 (.510) Up from rank #17
~ Vampy will try to take last weeks forfeit win and build on it to 'pump some lifeblood' into their program, barring that look for several of these guys to be working in your local blood bank after their college career is over.
-4 TD +3 casualties (-1 net) #4 Missou next week

15. HSU 1-0-4 (.448) Stayed at rank #15
~ The Jacks need a win, and badly. They likely looked past Bumble and paid for it by giving Bumble their much needed first win.
-5 TD -13 casualties (-18 net) #14 Fresno next week

16. Bumble U 1-0-4 (.404) Up from rank #20
~ The Bees Nation is thrilled to have their first win, and we at the RFA are happy for them. It will not justify us putting them ahead of HSU without something more, as they carry close the worst TD differential AND CAS differential in the NCBB.
-8 TD -25 casualties (-33 net) #5 Nevada next week

17. BDR 0-1-3 (.403) Up from rank #18
~ The southern rebels are nasty, but pathetic. To be ranked below Bumble is an insult few teams will likely ever suffer. Even if they manage to turn their program around, few teams will ever suffer the same ignominy.
-6 TD +7 casualties (+1 net) #8 Cali next week

18. Stanford 1-1-3 (.396) Down from rank #16
~ Stanford has gone missing. If you see them please report their location so we can send a Gogre after them.
-1 TD -1 casualties (-2 net) #12 Stanford next week

20. Bama 0-1-4 (.355) Down from rank #19
~ We cant be sure, but Bama may not be doing any worse for not showing up for their matches, they could be losing by a lesser score and with less casualties. But this is still not approved by the RFA
-5 TD -3 casualties (-8 net) # 2 Pain next week

Rocketing up in the standings this week:
+3 AF
+3 BK
+3 Hawaii
+3 Bumble

Dropping like a stone this week:
-3 Missou
-3 Stanford

NCBB doesn't really limit itself to a prescribed number of teams...

Anyone can and should get their programs ready!

Can Pain Statement keep up their record? You can see that at Wendesday 4:30am BBtime (Tuesday evening for yankees) when they go against Oregon Waterfoul.

A Legend has died... some mourn his departure (prob. very few). the opponents of Quentin Kantaris celebrate his death caused by an incompetent Apothecary.

A mere -Av SI, turned out to be the death of the star catcher. At least he cannot cause havoc in the NBFL, since this was his 2nd last match in the NCBB no matter what.

Only thing left for him is to aim for the The Wylie Coyote award. (since a dead player can't win any other awards)

(Edit: dunno how to link the player names, insert pics etc... so you'll have to suffice the "nonflyffy" obituary notice)http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=8006563

P.s. the game is'nt actually over yet... postponed 10 hours... will begin again at 08:00 BB time

Nevada Athletic Department Press Release:

The Wolfpack also salutes Quintin Kantaris, an elf who has been the "pretty boy" dominator for it seems like the last 6 or 7 seasons. Surely one of the best players to ever set foot on a college pitch, Nevada will mark his passing by naming our new "poweder room" facility -- payed for by the sudden influx of new donor (bounty) dollars.

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=8006563

The Wolfpacks only regret is that Quintin did not have the chance to continue his fine career in Nevada for another four years - Alas his teammate Robert "dirty" Pikel beat him to the punch.

All kidding aside -- probably the best ever game by the wolfpack -- they were hitting (clawing, biting, booting) hard and the Knights forgot there armor at home. The wolfpack manage a rare win against there archrivals, who true to their name never surrendered -- blitzing the ball while harrying the wolfpack with as few as 1 lone player at the end of the match. In true Blacknight form, coach Nico's lone remaining player screamed for the boot -- and of course we obliged, but fittingly the boot failed and he remained -- surrounded but undaunted -- on the pitch.

I applaud my arch-rival, and know that they will be back next season - ready to elfball and accessorize teams into defeat.

One game left let's get this season over with and on to the next as Fresno sucked this season.

More importantly it means that the mighty Aggies of Texas Ag&Ma can finally make their NCBB debut.

Gig 'em!

Pain managed to get a tie, so is the title Bowl between Pain and AirForce? They are the only teams without losses.

Time for the polls!

Then we'll know; there are a few teams who could lay claim to the 1 and 2 spots.
