you could just remove TTM from orc trolls

and definately get rid of throwers on orc teams (and arrier boys in orc armies)

Regarding my leagues orc nerf:
Getting rid of the throwers is the nerf. And I think it is deserved.
Reducing gobbos to 0-2 is really just about aesthetics. 10 non-linemen + a troll is plenty.

Well why remove 2 goblins? It's hardly overpowering and gives you the opportunity to play a fun team that is underpowered.

In my opinion there should be far more teams that give you the option to play a different but slighty underpowered line up. It also gives a nod to the old dungeon bowl team that was made up of orcs/goblins/trolls. Something BB I thought have been trying to do, a nod to the past era.

No team should have the option to not have a single lineman on the field. I personally feel capping positionals at 8 is the best call for all races (darkies, skaven, Orcs, Humies).

In the past, I wrote this idea called "flex positionals" where certain teams had flexible limits on certain positionals. For example:

Orcs:
0-8 BoBs/Blitzers/Throwers/*Troll/Gobbo
*Only 1 BG allowed ever

Never allowed to have more than 4 of any single type.

This way, when you get to TV 2000, not every Orc team will look a like.

Hi Harvestmouse,
I thought I explained that Wink
Aesthetics! Too many non-linemen.

If someone wants to play weaker orcs, he can just go 2 blitzers 2 BoBs.

Aesthetics arent a wonderful reason Wink

Besides, goblins are effectively linemen, albeit a second type of lineman.

I'm going for a new orc setup in LRB5. Starting roster:

4x Blitzers
4x Black Orcs
3x Goblins
4x Rerolls

This is a really solid and good starter eleven. If gobbos get hurt, well just put in some loner linemens.

And they're all green and live together so Aesthetically matching.

By aesthetics I meant breaking the maximum number of positionals on any team - by quite a margin.
To me, that's a good reason. YMMV.

And I heard the argument before that gobbos are just a 2nd kind of lineman.
The only other double lineman team has almost identical linemen: Skellies/zombies.
IMO, even though gobbos are linemen on another team, they add so much that the orc side doesn't normally have access to, that I don't think they have a lineman function.

Like an elf lineman on a dwarf team. Not really a linemen.
IMO, naturally.

Um boo! U must be an elf lover! Damned elves dont need (and cant even afford) positionals... Besides, GW needs to sell miniatures. Not change the rules so we can't use the ones we already bought...

And when it does become official will it matter since GW is trying to close down Fumbbl now?

GW is not trying to close down FUMBBL. Read the letter.
