** Milford from the GLT **

Sitting around talking some Blood Bowl with some drunk FUMBBL fans in the local pub when the discussion turned to talking about Chaos Pact. Will the pact come out in force this GLT and take the Forlorn by storm. I did a quick check on my FUMMBL AP and found that only 3 teams have a TV over 2000...Now TV is just a scale and not that represenative of team power but still the Chaos Pact teams seem to be lacking.

Wondering how many will enter the GLT. Well I quess another pint or two might give me some inspiration to answer that question. Cheers!

I dont think you are able to raise rotters. This topic came up back when any player could be selected as a prize for winning the GLT and many were excited about taking the BoN.

However, there are some other juicy choices:

Chaos Dwarf Blocker-most likely the first choice due to mutation access now

Chainsaw from the Goblin Cheaters-oh the fun fun fun with a permenant chainsaw on the roster

Fanatic from the Goblin Cheaters-ST7 goblin for the funz and lawz anyone? (ball and chain hasnt been added and might be a while before it actually is...abuse the bug!)

Dark Elf Renegade-with instant access to mutations and AG4...weeeeeeeee

Underworld Gobbo-horns, two heads, extra arms...i must add caution for this since i have an Underworld team in B...they die easy but boy o boy are they fun.

Underworld Skaven Lineman-want speed and mutation access?

Mauraders-low cost and access to G/S/P/M...

Chaos Beastman-c'mon CPOMB!!

Just a little list of my thoughts and considerable choices for prizes.

I'm not winning, but if I was my elves would be getting their very own Troll. Because trolls are fun.

edit: oh 70k limit... Sad

Well a goblin will do as well I guess Very Happy

by the way the rotter debate came up before for the Competetive Eaters and their BON. However, it was not able to raise rotters (nurgle warriors nowadays, so even better to get those days) as there is no rotters space on their roster (and rooster). It was decided because of this and because it would have been overpowered i guess.

you cant use the 'no space on the roster' because any player that isnt on the 'original' roster wouldnt be able to be selected lol (=

it was just simply too broken to allow, you are right.

Although, maybe we COULD get a change in mind since the infect only creates little harmless 6338 decaying regeneraters that can load up with CPOMB!!! weeee

Not so right...
The infecter creates harmless 5338 with decay, no regeneration, and only GM access... if he manages to kill someone before himself!

I'm sure you wont consider it so much better than a Beastman in an elven team or an elf in a chaotic one...

Oh what a spectacle FUMBBL fans! I just left the main venue were Booty Pirate and the Nandorins just played a match for charity. This match was prearranged by the GLT. Its purpose was to collect money for charity that the GLT would hand out at the end of the tournament to their charity sponsers. Events were planned before the match for the fans to meet and greet the players. A skill show took place were the players talked to kids and showed them the basics of Blood Bowl. You know a fun filled day with the stars on the pitch.

WELL that went sideways and blew off the side of a cliff. The Nandorins showed up on time and were handing out autographs, showing the kids the basics of passing and catcher. Being overall nice guys and laughing it up with the fans. They even showed up in their gilded gold uniforms that they use during these types of matches. Well about an hour late the Booty Pirates show up in run down stage coaches, the kind you see on the "row" to shuffle patrons from bar to bar. The girls show up and half of them are drunk. The other half have jugs of rum and singing bar songs. Coach Calcium has a grim visage and has black strips under his eyes, he looks mad and ready to play some Blood Bowl.

The Ladies just blow past the onlookers. Ignore the autograph line and kick over the props for the skill demonstration. A few of the girls have t-shirts that read: NUFFLE hates me and one of them had a t-shirt that said: NUFFLE hates YOU.

Well needless to say the wholle scene degenerated quickly once the ladies handed a 9 year girl a bottle of Rum and told her to run away and join up with a crew of pirates. Well that 9 year girl who is a big Booty fan just so happened to be the niece of an Elector Count. Iam sure that will not sit well with the count.

This turned into a classic charity match gone bad scenario. The Booty Pirate showed up, started laying the boot, beating down and beating up the Nandorins in their pansy armor and making a mockery of this match. Lord PC was in official attendance as this match was set up by him to show that FUMBBL does care about the less forturnate and meant to put a nice face on a very brutal sport. Needless to say by the end of this he was "steamed". As the fans were leaving I could see PC standing there "taking it" from the Elector of Averheim as he was waving a bottle of rum in PC's face.

A lot of fun at the GLT this year...be sure to take in the sights and sounds. It has the feel right now that the tournament has allready started with all the action on and off the pitch.

Nothing like a gentle 'warm up' game before a major!!!

Loving the reports painstate! Very Happy

Pretty good rundown of the top choices. I see the CDB being the top choice for elfy teams, the DE renegade being tops for bashers. Marauder/beastman is a good choice for the more bloodhirsty, and goblin chainsaw for the lulz choice (I'd love to see one really skilled up).

Why not bombardier instead of chainsaw? They'll be a lot of fun, too (once implemented) and don't have to go into melee for being effective! Smile
