The Black Gulf Breakers got greedy and pushed for the win instead of settling for a draw.
They rushed forward on the Blitz and got left behind by Dunenzed's much quicker Slann.
The 2-1 loss will serve as a lesson in Dwarf mobility and sensible positioning.
Next up, Khemri!

The league continues to gather steam. The spiked ball hasn't played its part so far but one is ever hopeful.

In that very game, Dunenzed had a player CAS'd by the ball on the opening kick-off!
(And my Dwarfs couldn't overcome the outnumbered Slann  ) |

Last night Spiked ball took out a Ghoul in Chavo Burn It Down and also caused a turnover (bouncing ball). This lead to his AG 4 ghoul being crowd surfed, a Skeleton being Killed and regening, and the Orcs of Mushoomy sliding out from under immense pressure to run off and win the game.
So 3 CAS in as many heartbeats started by the Spikey Bundle of Death (or BHs  )

It seems the spiked ball was working overtime last night. Blitzing the ball carrying werewolf, my blitzer fling took the both down (KOed), the ball bounced to the assisting fling and badly hurt him. Wolf simply stood up and wondered where the flings had gone before collecting the ball and scoring.
And to add to the walking wounded is the amazing dodging Flesh Golem. Brock fell on his face trying to get away from my tree and is one step towards being as slow as one. -mv |

The spiked ball has been great fun so far from what I've seen, also in the spirit of the league I now have a +AG Nurgle warrior, what do you reckon he should become, a ball carrier, a dodging blitzer? Either way his speed will be a problem.. |

What is the best way to get this guy killed?
I think standing him next to a Mighty Blow berserker is a better idea than throwing him into the crowd again. At least if the injury roll fails he'll still be on the pitch for another attempt. And there's always the possibility of a Triple Skull to earn his keep. |
