Looking forward to my very first tournament game here on FUMBBL. My TV-bloated Highelves team was drawn against another Highelf-team so I guess I will face some dangerous inducements. I will probably make some real rookie-mistakes but it is going to be fun either way. Just hope my opponent will log on soon so we can arrange a time for the game. He is been missing for 6 Days so I hope he just been practicing tactics in tabletop-games and is ready to kick some elven arse tonight. Good luck to all participants from King's Heroes and Villains

Oh my, Punish the Monkey, one of the fan favorites, goes out in the opening round of the UI.

The poor monkey

Miyuso the monkey gets sandwiched between two skaven blitzers and just lays on the pitch moaning and groaning, holding his shoulder as his collar bone is snapped into 5 shards.

After the match coach Kryten took it in stride saying that Miyuso had a good run but hey, its just a goblin man, he was lucky he was not killed.

Opening day of the UI folks. Make an excuse to get out of work, grab a 12 pack of beer or a full handle of whiskey, sit at home and get in some spec time.

For the guys in the States, today is a glorious day. Opening day of the UI and opening day of the NCAA basketball tournament. Why are you working today? Today should be a national holiday.

Let me clarify something.

The survivor pool pick is a unique pick, not one of the 5 you made for points.

You are picking 6 of the 8 matches.

Now remember that the survivor pool rewards 15 pts to the winner of the pool. That is full points for one round, a big bonus.

BUT there is a dilemma in the pick. Do you make the survivor pick your "best" pick, even though you get no points for it but stay alive OR do you make it one of your flyer picks and hope it comes up good?

Looks like the Bright Lantern group is a mini XFL Human. 5 Human teams and one Norse team, yes, Norse are humans to, except they wear helmets with horns and wear no shirts.
