Since this thread seems to be mostly about our own favourites:

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1570797

James has had NO stat increases, NO doubles, NO injuries, and NO ageing!!!! If you think you need doubles or increases to get a good player, you haven't played against James. Shadowing and Passblock together on an MA 7 player have caused some remarkable fun, and his CAS numbers just keep climbing!

All I do when I want to see the stats of some sick players is look at Malthor's teams.

I vote for the grandfathered Orpheus just because an Ogre with 55 completions amuses me.

Yep, Max, that's the kind of player I love to see. It's easy to see Enjoyments and mega-throwers who excel at their position, and I'm sure they're great fun to play with. But it's the ones who redefine a position who truly stand out in my mind. Even +2str elves used as blitzers really are just excellent versions of a normal elf who blitzes, but an ogre who throws? A lizardman saurus who scores 90% of his team's touchdowns? Players like these are memorable, because they teach you that just because you join a team in one position doesn't mean your roll is predetermined.

Take for example my own legendary skaven gutter runner Sai. He didn't listen to the skaven coaches at the time who dictated a gutter was to score and intercept the ball, occasionally using dauntless/horns/stripball to win the ball away. Not content with merely removing the ball, Sai was intent with removing the player as well! Before him, there were a bare handful of gutters with claws, taking more as a lark than a serious player. But since? An entire generation of gutter runners has appeared flaunting claws and horns, wreaking as much damage as their storm vermin counterparts.

There are players better at throwing, better at hitting, more spp, fewer injuries, you name it. But Sai redefined the position of gutter runner forever!

Nandorins Edeny is the best player from all the links that were given, but ex-equo with Orange II.

The creepy thing isn't so much the fact that they have Pass Block - it's the fact that they have an average of 4.5 interceptions Razz

When he was alive, Bert would be my hands down choice for the most powerful player ever on fumbbl:

Definately the best ogre to grace a fumbbl feild. He's still young but an aging roll took of an AV. Look out for this future hall of famer.

Why take Break Tackle on st5 ag4 player?!?! He would anyway succeed a normal dodge roll on 2+. 90% wasted skill.

I only had ag3 when I chose break tackle and if you knew ogre teams, there isn't much to choose from unless you roll doubles. Coulda chose guard but I got lots of ogres with guard. Gotta mix it up a bit sometimes. I also have a 3 strength dwarf with breaktackle cause my daughter hit the mouse when she was sitting on my lap when it was still on the first skill of choosing. Wanna make a deal of that too?
