Day #2 of the UI
Well day one of the UI saw some more big name teams get the boot.
Boys in the Hood and Rata Blanca get the boot and are sent packing in the opening round.
The big story of day #1 was the Exit of the Warpstone Open Champion: Space Tails. Taken down right off the bat and denied their chance at achieving one of the hardest task on FUMBBL. Back to Back major winner. The Runestaff Runners jumped on the Space Tails early and just "dogged" them all game long and held on in the end to seal the victory. |

In a game notable for much fail on both sides, back-to-back blitzes, a questionable and risky early use of an apo, and a chaos side that couldn't cause a casualty, the Chaos Waste Crushers manage to squeak out a win vs. Emphasy's huge and scary Pro Fail Elves.
As a yuuuuge bonus, all four cas suffered by the Crushers were BH, so the team remains at full strength heading into Round 2. |

Survived my first ever tournament game and Nuffle blessed me and cursed my opponent's dices which made my high elf-team go through to the second game. Two selfinflicted kills was the little drawback of the game. My kicker killed himself with a doubleskull that rerolled both down,skull and my AG Blodgestep leaping Catcher leaped into his death with some snakeeyes. And as usual the highelf-apothecary was busy looking at himself in the mirror and forgot about his patient.
Was tons of fun to play in a tournament though! Looking forward to the next game against some really amazing woodelves! |

Nice to see the Monsters are once again chosen for the picker challenge. Haven't checked out how much trust we got this time, but for those who care: The match will most likely be played tonight (Monday), starting at or soon after 21:00 bbtime. |

Milford has apparently been waylaid by bandits or some such, so here is my unofficial, unsolicited, possibly unwanted and most likely incorrect results from the first round.
This is assuming that you have to guess the tds exactly and casualties just by category. There were 42 Casualties and 14 Tds by my count; Arktoris and Mossbeard won the Cas award, nobody won the td award.
