Hi,

i found some (outdated?) explainations about the ranking formula:

-is the TS Value still in use? If yes, how are the new skills like decay or Animosity handled?

-Are the racial factors still in use? What about the new races?

- TS was only used together with TR. So no, it won't be used when TV is used.
- The racial factors for blackbox were reset to 50%-50% for each match-up, and is now updated every time a game is finished, keeping the racial factors up to date. (AFAIK).

There is a cap on TV difference too, 15% from the highest team (last I heard).

Well yes, in the blackbox there is 15% TV cap (based on the lowest TV), but that has nothing to do with this Wink

I'm very confused by the BWR because after a run of a few wins in a row it crept up a tiny amount (+0.1 or +0.2) even when beating coaches with a CR of 170+ then when i lose or draw a game my BWR drops massively(-5.0 ish)? It seems quite random.

BWR has nothing to do with CR. Your logic is flawed.

It still confuses me though. Why does it drop more when you lose than it ever increases when you win? I'm just interested to know.

It depends on the racial factor, TV's of the teams and in this case the BWR (I believe).
You win more if:
- your TV is lower
- your BWR is lower
- your race has a worse chance of winning that matchup at that TV.
