There has been a lot of talk these days about optimising teams for TV in blackbox. How some teams (mostly talked about pact) seem to be overwhelming if rightly managed, not played!
It's most likely right. Whatever.
Fumbbl has always been about the coolnest... we picked our niche amongst the geeks, and in there, the group of BloodBowl geeks, we are the quarterbacks and Spoony. I mean cheerleader.
Yes, we most likely have the best coaches around here, yes its competetive as hell at times.
But what's cooler? The Clint Eastwood Roles or the Competetive Eaters? The Anarchists made it into the LRB, not the Brotherhood.
Stop giving a damn. Go back to your own behaviour, start blowing your team out of proportion, struggle recovering it, spend weeks and dozens of games with loosing record just to come back o a point where you can actually play and have a chance to win.
Ill have fun doing so.

Good post, im having a blast with my skaven team even though im losing my butt off with them, but im not worrying about playing bashy vs non bashy.
won my 1st game and didn't win again until my 15th, but Im having a blast developing my Gutters and Blitzers and for the most part have had some very enjoyable games
now if i could just get my linemen to quit dieing after they get a skill. |

Ya i know, i had a serious delema a few games ago, a AG+ wrestle linerat got killed, i chose not to apo him and the next turn my Ag+ Ma+ gutter got killed and apo saved him, good choice! |

never ever apoth a linerat.
or a skink.
no matter what unless its opponents final move in final turn.
even then i'd think twice about it.
sure you might save the linerat (or skink) but very next game that apoth is gonna bite ya when he heals the RIP on your favourite player to a RIP.
This is guaranteed.
Besides wouldn't you rather a journeyman for los duty next game |

I disagree on this, in the second half, if the game seems to be going my way. I'll apoth a skilled linerat. Gutters skill up easy enough anyway, they're fast enough to build. But getting those few needed skilled linoes takes for ever  |

I give a poop! I turned down a +ST on my all-star-all-snotling Toronto OgreNots because my math project told me that accurate at 30K would win me more games and precious BWR if I took it instead of +ST. And if you are going to chastise me for that, I've got some poop that I'll fling your way! |
