I will only get to play today but I'm already liking players like this! Beware the fearsome Double Claw!

I got 2 games in - easy and fast. Love it.

I suffered a bit from my choice of migrating my old Box team - my now 8 rotter Nurgle literally fell apart against a weaker orc team. And my flings, having been based on 1 RR + 2 Chefs, were struggling as it turned out that chefs haven't benn implemented yet.

Chef is implemented but works differently in the new ruleset. They are now inducements instead of something you pay for.

Just logged on to watch a game whilst at work and of 17 games on the game page all were Box games. I bet that hasn't happened before for a while.

I can't watch games from work because the new client uses port 2223 which is in the blocked ports range. :S
Didn't have that problem with the old client so this is a clear disadvantage of the new client.

I'm in the other boat. I couldn't watch the old client that well because it needed to be downloaded, and i had to hide the folder. Now I don't need to worry about that anymore.

How did the transfer work?

Are all [B] teams now LRB6 compliant? No grandfathering?

There's a surplus of Ogres on Ogre teams, but that's all, I think.

Rotter teams came out very badly, since all beastmen got down-graded to ordinary rotters.

Best part was all teams being placed in a post-game state allowing the hiring of journeymen for those short on players.

Do they have to retire ogres before they can play?

I'm not a fan of the box idea in general simply because I think this game is too long / slow to sit through a poor matchup.
(Also I hate losing, so any time I lose I consider it a bad matchup. And I'm not a very good player, so you can see how anything except cherry-picks might be a problem for me Razz )

I still gave it a whirl though, and have so far been positively surprised. Only 1.5 boring games in 5 matchups so far Smile
