This thread addresses anybody who like realistic FPS games. So if you have some affinity for the military but doesn't want to enroll, try out this!  Apart from the classic BF2, it has the British army, insurgents of Iraq and Afghanistan, and Chechen/Slavic militia (not to mention the Russian forces, which is under development). The gameplay has been modified from the original, no more arcadey stuff, or you end up in a virtual bag pretty soon. This also helps new players to get used to the game.
The PR mod won the Silver Spanner Award last year, and it's developing continously with ever-growing community. If you're interested, visit the official site here!
Note: you need an original BF2 DVD to be able to play on every servers, the mod itself is free. |
