My dark elf team just lost its first game against a chaos team featuring a ST5, claw, razor sharp claw, block, tentacles monster of a chaos warrior. This was my first Fumbbl team outside of the one i made for the Fumbbl World Cup. It was undefeated in its first 15 games. So how did this happen, you ask?
Well, on turn 8 of first half, with the ball secured by an elf at the chaos end zone and a huge wall of elves to protect him, a beastman makes multiple dodges to get there, blitzes and niggles the ball carrier. The crowd throws it out of reach, or is it? The troll reaches it with go for its, picks it up no problem, throws a long bomb to a beastman, and the beastman then proceeds to go scoring with dodge and go for its!
My turn 16 one-turn TD fails because i need one more push but CAS the guy instead. I score without problems at the start of second half.
On turn 16, i run out of time and my ball carrier stays in contact with a player he shouldn't have. He gets killed (he was my best player with 40+ SPPs, block, dodge and guard), then they pick up the ball, hand it off and score for the 2-1 win.
Congrats man! I'm more disappointed with the loss than with the dead star. I was really holding on dearly to that undefeated record! |

Impressive.
You should try get that Dark Elf team up and running for the FUMBBL Cup - that should be a good enough challenge for you. |

Yes, there is. For every 1 000 posts a coach makes, he is entitled to play one match against my Trolls. |

I can play once too! My new ogres are even in a legal TS difference
though it took a long time to find out how many posts I'd made, moving one page at a time - I was 1337 in coach name, descending, which I figured would be quickest - there was no post total option, and no way to skip 3 or 4 pages at a go, or search for my name - that list needs some tweaking |

You were leet?
Anyway, the quick way is to click on the 'Profile' link under any of a coach's posts, then the 'Find all posts by …' link and that will tell you how many he's made. |

Well, that wall of elves consisted of, erm, exactly 1 elf, and the charging beastman was of elven kind (AG4), he only had to slip 3+ and 2+ (and make a 2+ GFI) to reach the ball carrier.
Nevertheless, the troll action there (2+, 2+, 5+, 6+, followed by beastman 3+ (rerolled) catch and 3+ dodge with 2 2+ GFIs) was indeed awesome and pretty much worth a defeat! |
