In certain situations, it can be useful to simply "wake up" a BoneHead player
for him to get its tacklezones back without moving him.
This happened in this game Turn 8 of 1st Half - http://fumbbl.com/ffb.jnlp?replay=54

But the client only offered to move, block, blitz, etc ...
Could we add an option to "Roll Bonehead and end move" ?
I guess it would be working in a similar fashion as "Stand up and end move".

Note: Really Stupid would also benefit from such an option.

Acknowledged. Makes perfect sense and will therefor appear in one of the next versions.

If you're looking for a hotkey link for this, I'd recommend using the same one for standing up and ending turn.

actually - ruleswise - you have to declare an action to "wake up" a stupid or bonehead player. Basically you have to select a move action, don't move and then end the move action.

There is no "wake-up" action in the rules,

As far as I can remember this works perfect in the client.

(EDIT: after reading your post again. I think you are talking about the lrb4 client... O_o)

I recall that when u select move, you would have to attempt to move also. This would be a problem in tacklezones.

Remember in all other cases if you have chosen an action, you can undo the action again by clicking your player again, unless you have moved.

This will indeed require a "roll for bonehead/really stupid command"

On1, no I meant the new client. But I'm working from memory here. I remember choosing a move action, not moveing and hitting "end move". No problems with tacklezones.

But maybe one should test that ...

if you click end move in the FFB client and you have started an move action without taking any steps, you cancel your chosen action. Thats the reason for this bugreport.

this should go for hypnotized players too, as hypnogaze works until the victim is activated (haven't tried it)

Good idea, however

I would be very surprised if you had tried it. Cool Wink
