The popularity of Kalimar's FFB client cannot be understated and has seen a significant increase in the number of games played on the site. It has also seen a shift to the FFB 'testing' division from other divisions.
Whilst other divisions are all about arranging one off games, Blackbox however needs a minimum number of coaches present for a round to take place, but yesterday (not for the first time) most of the Blackbox regulars were busy with FFB.
It would be great if we could have the FFB Blackbox division setup sooner, rather than later, so those of us who enjoy both FFB and the Blackbox structure have a new place to call home? I am not worried about the transfer of teams just yet (although Mice in Black were closing in on their 500 TD target).
BTW please do not use this thread to discuss the pro's and con's of Blackbox versus Ranked ... they are just different divisions and we all prefer our own way of playing, I just happen to be one of the ones that prefer the Blackbox setup. |

Alternatively it might be a good idea to just disable the new client again until a new version is out where all the currently reported bugs have been fixed and a new round of efficient bugfinding can begin?
I wonder how effective playtesting is at this point- For me, all the new bugs i 'found' had already been reported. |

I'd like FFB BBox too.
Edit: but transfers, split testing division and beta meaning it can't be competitive just now can be problems

Lets just add an optional scheduler to the FFB division for now to keep things simple? |

/ not signed yet....how again is the scheduler going to match up games?
we suffered from allmost a year of deciding the proper way for the box to make the match ups..now that we move to a TV enviroment are we just going to port the same match up system over to the box and move on like nothing happened?
(still left in the middle of Mojave desert when it comes to my Box action.) |

A scheduler would be nice, however I don't mind waiting until FFB is official. It's not hard getting games nowadays. |

Painstate: let's get that haggling over matchups done while FFB is still in beta eh? ..and yeah it will definitely need some tweaking but that probably can't be done well until more people have seen it in action. There's a thread somewhere discussing the pros and cons of degrees of openness: my impression was that there was a limitted majority in favour of some kind of percentage limit on TV difference. |

it was a long journey to get the matchup quality in [b] that high. a good reason to start checking maximum TV differences (maybe even by time of the day) as soon as possible.
but as there are other things more important, [b] could be the place to test the move from lrb4 to ffb.(and get it done quickly) |
