I am pretty frustrated, and would really appreciate some help.

The problem that I am having is this; Games start and connect just fine. Games play just fine, with no problems UNTIL I make my first TD. So far the three games I have played, I made the TD before the end of the first half. After scoring the point, it asks me to set up players, and it crashes.

The Javabbowl window shows the following;

>Listen Thread IO Exception
>Connection Reset
>Closing Local Sockets
>fumbbl.com/213.113.143.192

Then it keeps trying to re-connect in 10 second intervals, and during this time, my entire machine is frozen (not even mouse movement, or task manager intterupt will work) for 5 seconds. This also seems to halt all internet connectivity on my machine. Once I get Javabbowl to quit, my computer is in a permanent offline mode. Nothing but logging off, restarting, or unplugging my network cable for a good 30 seconds will restore my network connections.

Has anyone ever had, or heard of this kind of problem before? Is there a way in Javabbowl to set up verbose error reporting to a logfile that I can send to someone?

For reference, I am using Windows XP Pro, the most up to date IE, the most recent Java RE, and the most recent Javabbowl.

Thank you all in advance for any help you can provide...

This thread is dealing with the same problem. For some, it causes reboots, for others, the network connections just dies in the way you are saying. Either way, the fix is there.
