I was looking for a league or leagues to join, but as I poked through the list it seemed like most of them have not had much going on for a while. Am I reading something wrong? Are there leagues out there looking to recruit right now? |

What time zone are you in, and how often can you commit to playing? That will help the various leagues let you know they are available. |

I am in the USA Eastern standard time. I could probably commit to at least 2 games per week. |

One way to check which are active is to look in the Leagues section of the Forum. Active leagues will (should be) be nearer the top, unless no-one uses the forums, and what fun is that ? |

I've always thought Reading was a funny name for a town. I mean, I've been there, and it didn't really seem like a place where people read. |

How is that pronounced? Is it REED-ing or (like it is in California) RED-ding? |

If you are in the NA timezone there are a few leagues to look at that I know are active.
Firstly, the CFFL (Canadian Fantasy Football League) will be looking to replace one member (we will miss you Ro.) and possibly expand by a few teams in about 3 months when the current season and playoffs are over. We have the best league page (yes, biased), keep stats, vote on player of the week/month, and have our own Bones the Bookie to take your hard earned fantasy gold.
I know Rooke runs a NA TZ league called SOUPA. You can PM him about it. I played in the test season and it was fun.
There is the NBFL, based on the NFL as well. |

RogueBanshee, take a look at the Whiskey League.
We will be looking for new coaches in about a week.
But we need people that will play every week (just 1 game). People have a tendency of falling off the face of the earth.

@Krispy...... Reding.... It's not the best place in the world, close to where the English version of the "Office" show was set. |

The Northern Wastes League is another option. We are midway through a season at the moment, so you wouldn't be able to sign up for another month or so, but we're happy to take new people. |

If you're looking for something different and quick (maybe in addition to a "normal" league): BB7s will probably kick off in again in a few weeks. |
