this is the remove 'sandbox warning banner' issue with java.
I can't tell you how to get to java options on linux but I think this is the same issue.
Find this - 'sandbox warning banner' in the java options and remove the tick and click apply or okay. |

Ah ok, that got me in headed in the right direction.
Open up a terminal, cd to JAVA_HOME/bin (in my case /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_35/bin) and run ./ControlPanel which opens up the control panel.
Then go to the Advanced tab and Settings > Security > General and untick Show sandbox warning banner. |

cool, sounds right, so have you re-tested?
that should fix it, I also know some people have had issues with the client when using linux and they were solved by turning the sound off, so keep that in mind too if you have other issues. |
