Far to the north in the chaos wastes the Battleground has reformed. New format, new rules and a lot more brutal.
Battleground has returned under a new format.
All teams are welcome to join the Battleground.
Tired of the standard weekly round robin grind? Wish you had some old fashion monthly KO action style tournaments to battle it out in?
Well Battleground is the place to be.
Who will raise the trophy in victory at the end of the season and claim the title of Lord of the Battleground?

Since coaches dont like to hit links and read. Here is the format for the Battleground right off the bat. Just so you know what you are getting into.

Every Month there will be 2 KO tournaments and at some point exapnad out to 4 or more.
*There will be a KO Tourney for Europe and a KO Tourney for North America.
*As the battleground fills up we will add a second KO for each region. That is when we will pit the forces (the above breakdown of teams) against each other.
*If we reach such mass that it can support 3 KO tournies then we will add a 3rd.
*The ideal KO is a 16 team format. So that is the goal. Adjustments will be made when needed.
The Euro KO's are ideal for coaches who can play in the 20:00 - 24:00 (8PM CET-Midnight CET) BB time
The North American KO's are ideal for coaches who can play in the 03:00-07:00 (8 PMEST-Midnight EST) BB time range.
Of course matches can be played at any time.
Coaches can apply to either/or both of the KO's. BUT consideration for timezones must be given if you are playing across the "pond". SO if you know it would be a pain in the butt to play +/-7 hours to arrange a match. DO NOT APPLY TO THE WRONG GROUP.
SO what we have going on is this.
KO tournaments running side by side. A Euro KO and a NA Ko tourney. The only time you will have to play a standard KO with all the coaches/teams in one "pool" would be in the two majors.
With this structure it is possible if you have the time and desire you can enter into multiple KO tournies all running at the same time. So for the first round it looks like a NA and Euro single KO. You could have a team applied to both. Once we fill up to 4 KO you could have 4 teams playing that month. |

We have a pink horror who spent some time in Estalia. He has provided a translation for all the coaches who speak that infernal tounge.

Dado que los entrenadores no te gusta de golpear links y leer. Este es el formato para el campo de batalla la derecha del palo. Sólo para que sepas lo que estás consiguiendo.

Cada mes habrá 2 torneos KO y en algún momento exapnad a 4 o más.
* Habrá un torneo de KO para Europa y un torneo de KO para América del Norte.

why join a new weekly round robin League?
Battleground is the new hipness of monthly KO action. Ok, granted it is recycled old trash on how Leagues use to run. But now it is shiny and new all over again. |
