Hi Guys, setting up a thread for match reports:
Game 1 for the 145 Looneyz and i know your dying to know how you did so here goes.
We decided to play Dwarfs first a tough match up for Gobbo's but we're Looneyz right so we don't care! The stars of the first half were Demented Dr Poods who couldn't throw his bombs because of the Sun so instead opted to rush the ball most of the way down the pitch before completing an amazing pass (5+) to allow Crackpot Cipherious to run in for the TD. Unhinged Albinv ran around stunning and KOing Dwarfs for fun making the whole rush that much more effective.
Second half was a different story with the Dwarfs down by a TD they became brutal and the match degenerated into a hitting and fouling frenzy for both sides. Unbalanced El_Dude came off worst of all with an -AV and will sit out the next match. Gonzo the Outcast did his bit with the second score and skilled up in the process which was pleasing and the only non foul injury of the Game went to Meaty Smeaty.
The opposition did not lay down easily and fought bravely to the end but i fear both teams will suffer for their brutality in the next match!. Look out for new additions as we recruit to fill our missing comrades.

I'll put up the match vs Mike, since that was the latest one I played and I didn't see this thread.
145 Rookie League
Scented Candles (Orcs)(TPiggy) vs Mike's 145 Looneyz (Goblins)(mike467)
First half: Looneyz receive. Nobbla blitzes to get a quick KO on a BOB. Goblins miss the pickup turn 1, but the ball is deep enough that it doesn't matter. The orcs pressure backfield and force the goblins to set up a tight cage. Several turns ensue, while a few goblins are KO'd and Nobbla gets badly hurt. The ball-carrier makes a break for it, but trips over a BOB and is seriously injured, dropping the ball. The orcs pick up the ball, but fail to convert. Tied score 0-0.
Second half: Candles receive. They create a tight cage on the flank, with extra cover to intercept the bombardier. They find a hole down the middle, and throw 6 orcs through. The bombardier fumbles his throw and BHs himself, allowing the cage to move forward unchallenged. With a number advantage and the trolls being a bit stupid, the remaining 6 players kept the gobbos from making mad dashes. A few muffed short handoffs to a BOB later, the orcs score. Candles up 1-0.
Turn 8/8: Looneyz receive. Kickoff is riot, and the goblins get an extra turn. Their last re-roll is used on picking up the ball, but everything goes smoothly until the troll throws one space too short. Final: Candles 1-0 Looneyz |

well ill try and join in,not sure how good it will be but ill try
first game for the barbedwire banditz(skaven) is against da ogre power(ogre)
it was perfect bloodbowl weather and after the coinflip the ogre choose to receive
first half:ftousou is too busy watching some birds to notice the ball has been kicked and the rest of the team begin their game long seige of systematically bashing and fouling the rats almost instantly zaz is put down and is gang fouled wich resulted in a fractured skull,a sign of what was to come,but the bandits rush the back field and kickz picks the ball up and runs it in on turn 3.ftousou fumbles the pickoff after the next kick agin the banditz rush the backfield but this time rollingwire rolls 6 skulls on 2 3 dice blocks to end the turn.shortly after is killed by gang foul led by jimbo and a ap0thicary mishap.scamper gets the ball from tackles zone and runs it in on turn 6.da ogre power try for a throw teammate after the next kickoff and is fumbles by jimbo.the bandits leave the field for halftime with only 5 players.
2nd half:the banditz badly outnumbered luck out with a quick snap to begin the 2nd half.kicks picks up the ball and passes it to scamper whos leggs was going faster than usual(2GFI)gets the ball in to the endzone.after the kick only 2 gutter runners rush the backfield but ftousou finally gets the ball into his hands.the 2 runners try for a 2 dice against block that fails ,the rest of the half the remaining banditz just sit back and watch knowing there was little else they could do to stop ftousou who scores in turn 7 and ends the game.the banditz won 3-1 but paid for it in blood.afterwards coach shadeysmoke and coach cdassak shake hands and agree it was a fun game and wish each other well. |
