This team, Bull Centaur with Block rolled doubles for his 2nd skill. My gut is telling me to take Dodge, make him my ball carrier and then get Break Tackle next skill. Until I get BT, Dodge will be purely defensive (except for last ditch efforts). Is my gut feeling right? Or should I just take BT now? |

Fire, so we don't have to thrash you about!
Take the Dodge, Take Surehands, Take BT, take wildcard skill your team lacks, call it career and laugh in the faces of people trying to stop your Superbull. |

Dodge, then BT, it will be a very good ball carrier, and even in defense, it does provide great mobility |

With early player/team skills, unless there's a +Stat or early doubles or other unusual twist, can't usually go far wrong with the standard recommendations. |

I do like the idea and practice of Diving Tackle on a Bull.
They are often/ always(?) around the ball, and they are a ST4 almost immovable object where the normal ball retrievers from the Opposition are concerned.
I have seen this used to good effect in the past and really makes the opponent think twice about going in for the pick up in TZs and dodge away, especially if backed up with Tackle as well.
Just some food for thought. |

This early, Dodge first both for survivability and scoring.
As a later skill (with or without Dodge first), DT is one of several solid options (but better with). |

This guy is a doubles machine. 3rd skill another double. I'm thinking Side Step. With Blodge and s4 he's hard to bring down. With SS I can keep him in good position. Since he already has Dodge, Break Tackle doesn't seem as necessary (75% v. 83% dodging into an empty square, but can RR the BT). Diving Tackle got some support earlier, but I don't like the idea of leaving my most important player prone. What do you all think? |
