Hello everyone.
I would like some advice / point of view from this amazing community ( yes you all are amazing ).
My team's name : winter'sbite
As the title say, i rolled a double on both the berserk with MB, and the runner.
***First, I plan to give berserk Dodge, because he is often on the side, doing the push-into-the-mighty-crowd's job. I assume he 'll be safest with this, plus I don't really like PO anyway. Suggestions? ( I think its Guard or Dodge anyway )
*** Secondly, I want to give guard to the runner, for obvious reason ( not much ST access ), followed by Dodge on the next roll.
***Thirdly, i need advice on the 1st skill on a lineman, I am thinking on Kick or Tackle, but also on fire him because i don't know, norse's linemen are so good for 50K, is this really worth to upgrade them? I rather stay with a low TV.
Since all choice depends on what you already have, you need to know that one ULF has +1ST and the Yeti has block.
Thank you in advance for all the answers / tips / suggestions.
PS : Oh, and I would like some point of view on the ULFS too, which next skills ? I assume block is the safest one, but well, I don't know, im not much experienced =) |

I'll let one of the experienced Norse coaches get this, but here's the link to the team. |

You can link your teams by using [u r l]link[/u r l].
No spaces though.
As to your question.
Dodge. Never have enough dodge on Norse. |

You need a ball carrier asap, so I would definitely skip it on the Runner and take either Dodge or Sure Hands (Dodge, most likely).
By the way, Runners are among my favourites positionals, and I would hire a second one.
As for the Berserker... I may skip it as well and take PO instead (or Tackle), but Dodge or Side-Step are decent choices (SS both for crowdsurfing and for positioning, especially if he gets Guard later on).
For the lino: Tackle or DP.
EDIT - For the Ulf: Block first, no question asked, then MB or Guard (and Tackle, PO next). |

My Norse Runners get leader. No other double is worth. But Leader is an efficient choice, as it saves you 30k in TV.
The berserker does not need any double. Dodge might be semi-decent, but not needed really.
Lino: DP, Fend, or maybe Frenzy if you can use it. But looking at your team you already have a full house of frenzy, so dont take that skill. |

Dodge on the beserker and the runner (yes ignoring the double on him), if not dodge take sure hands
Fend on the lino for use on the LoS |

Dodge is better than Fjord and Christler. |

I'd take dodge on both
though, if you HAVE to take doubles, give Guard to the runner and dodge or side-step to the Berserker |

Don't underestimate DP. Indeed, linos are cheap and great out of the box, but the fact there are so cheap also means that you can have a large bench full of DP even at low TV.
Yes, the team I've linked is awful - it's just a "concept" I wanted to try out - but it can be so much fun and efficient... However, be warned if you go down this road, half of your opponents will be rage quitting in the middle of the game and you will be as popular as this small person. |

I'd go for guard on the runner. Never too much guard on a norse team.
Zerker could go dodge, but po is valid, too. |

I don't remember when the skill choice lists (https://fumbbl.com/help:LRB6NorseSurvey) in the help sections were updated last. But they can give you an idea of what to get. |
