Hi, given this player almost exclusively plays other Dwarf teams, what would be the ideal skill choice for a +ST Block Runner?

He is of good use as a ball carrier, as a passer in desperate situations e.g. a three turn drive, and as a dangerous defensive Blitzer.

Pass:
Always useful on >AG 2 ball carriers, especially if > AG 2 receivers are available.

Leader:
Always a good choice after Block, Dodge, Sidestep and Sure Hands for players with Pass access, unlike the player grew big (+ST, because then he can be built as both a ball carrier and as a Blitzer and Sacker) or the Team Re-Rolls are cheap (50k).

Fend:
Useful where many Frenzy players appear and in general if AG < 4, also if the opposite has slow Blitzers, as it could be the last GFI to reach my Runner and then Fend stops him from building up a tackle zone on the ball after the ball got popped free.

Kick-Off Return:
Useful if fast teams are played regularly AND/OR if the ball carrier is slow. In this case a "no" and a "yes" is given.

Shadowing:
Considering that this player will be among the fastest ones in most games, it can be very helpful, adding the fact that the player to be shadowed has hard times dodging multiple times with AG 3.

Strip Ball:
Many would ask, why Strip Ball should ever be chosen before Tackle. The answer is: Dwarf versus Dwarf delivers a lot of Tackle out of the box plus any developed Dwarf Blitzer (the 5339 ones) gets Tackle at some point. So Strip Ball could be favoured... still most of the times, it is a Runner with Sure Hands who becomes the target to get the ball from.

Tackle:
Blitzer? Needs Tackle! Even when playing Dwarves with Dwarves?

Wrestle:
That is a guaranteed increase in probability of pushing the ball carrier to the ground unlike with Tackle. Unfortunately a player with Block who gets Wrestle seems somewhat wasted.

Fend would be my choice to stop opponent Troll Slayers, they are the most likely attackers with him being strength 4 - as you say its mostly dwarves you play against

Fend is the only skill that makes him better

To all those picking tackle did you read he almost only plays other dwarf sides?
