Don´t know if this issue has been discussed or nobody noticed so far (or didn´t care).
In my last match I tragically lost a norse catcher against an undead team (Chappy´s brutal lot ). chappy did his necro stuff and he had another zombie, BUT after the upload my catcher doesn´t show in the past players list. I´m not sure whether it´s a bug.

No, he won't show up there. Where he will show up is on your opponents team, complete with his name, games played stat, and complete match history. Effectivly a raise dead is treated as a player transfer, with a wipe of spp and a reset to zombie stats and skills. And since past players only shows players that have retired or died or are dead, he isn't on the list. |

Cant wait to raise my first dead player with my undead! Hopefully it will be a wood elf wardancer. |

As was said, they come back with Zombie stats and skills. A Wardancers won't be a wardancer any more.
However I must say, I played my first game wit my Rotter team last night. My beast managed to kill a Khemri Skeleton and I got a Rotter. It was like winning an extra 110,000g in my first match. |

I don't like this procedure. Wardancer Farinrodorel of the Ashenvale Protectors, most succesful Wardancer in fumbbl-history with about 250 SPPs (ranked 3rd behind Swifty and Pikachu) and 16 MVP-awards, died in the game against Unearthly as he reached for Unearthly's endzone in the attempt to score his 4th TD in that particular game (it rained cats and dogs that game so he as the most agile player on the pitch carried the responsibility to score). He failed a GFI, failed the GFI-Reroll, died and apoth failed as well. Then he joined the Undead. Not only is he no longer listed in the current top 10, he's also missed in the HoF. And his record suggests he played half his games against his own team.

Furhtermore, the 3 TDs he scored as a Wardancer meant 9 SPPs for his Zombie-Manifestation. Is that supposed to happen?

I played a game with my rotter's against an undead team. My beast killed a zombie, and thus the zombie became a rotter. Said zombie was at one time a Dark Elf Blitzer... where will he end up next... only time will tell |

Oops. Am I the only one here who thinks that's a serious flaw?
It's actually a JBB issue, I think, but one that needs addressing. |

My mistake, Ski. I was just thinking that if the XML file was generated with the original player's name and position and SPPs and such but with a flag that says, "I was killed and raised as a zombie by those guys!" then I couldn't see how FUMBBL was supposed to differentiate it.
I'll see if I can dig up the result from the only time I've had a player zombified (still bitter over that one... 38 game veteran Lion Warrior with no injuries and 129 SPPs goes down on a 1 die block from a rookie ghoul... grrr...). If so, I'll send it along. |

We are aware that there are issues with raising the dead. We are planning to rewrite that particular piece of code to something less complicated.
We neglected the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) rule the first time around...
