DRAFT RESULTS ARE IN!

With much fanfare tonight, the Draft was conducted live in #swl...

The results are as follows:

DaemonicLazoth: Skaven
Skonos: Vampire
Miyuso: Pro Elf
Smegish: High Elf
ABigwood: Ogres
Satans_mechanic: Undead
Wallace: Dwarf
karix: Khemri
Rabid_Bogscum: Wood Elves
Virral: Ogres
Wolfden: Vampires

Because of the creation of the Dynamite group, the races are all virtually full except we have ZERO Amazon teams... For those of you who have been given a Dynamite team (Ogres or Vamps) and you would prefer to play Zons, send me a PM and I will consider a swap...

Otherwise, the results are final with most races represented by 3 teams.

All coaches who were in the draft, can you please apply to the SWL League Page before the weekend.

I would like to get the draw done sometime this weekend.

For the Regionals, when the teams are finalised, we will make a decision about the Regional Division structure in terms of size and structure etc etc.

Congrats to all the draftees... I do acknowledge that not many of you got your first pick, but thats why we encourage a good length of preferences...

Ok, lotta new lads around - which is probably good as it got me motivated to having a look at our outdated 'policy doc'. In short, its shorter...!

In detail though, just got rid of the lawyers jargon - hurts to read something like that when you just want to get into your blood bowl! So now it reads a bit more like a usual GW 'rules' book whilst still trying to be concise and clear about the issues that always hover around a grey line.

Check it out for me (old swl vets as well!) if you have some time between games and get back to me with any complaints/suggestions for it you might have (it's about a 1MB download).

And yes Clay...the donut boys now have their own special mention in it!

SWL Guide

Also for the others of you getting drafted for the first time, you might want to wander around the Snorriheim (SWL) website a bit. Once the season gets underway it runs a couple of automated ladders that track your player's achievements throughout the season. At the end of it the Twahnlow's awards are given out - very prestigous!

There's also a copy of the Living Rulebook there, and a modded version of skijunkie's client complete with stunty packs and a swathe of other (sometime's swl'ish) goodies packed in with them.

Just gave the guide a quick look over Snorri, looks like some good work there, top effort

At least now when Clay offers someone a game with the Donut Boys we'll know wether they've read the Guide or not Wink

Hey Clay,

Emma (user name freckles) is interested in playing Goblins in Season 12 if that's OK?

At present, we are awaiting an Ogre team from ABigwood and a couple of post draft teams (freckles' Gobbo's and possibly a new player by the nick Kalraan) and I will be able to do the draw for Season 12.

Guys, get your teams in soon or you will miss out! Wink
