Yeah, sure hands... any skill that reduces the RR-rolling is good... Despite his AG 6, he still fails on 1. |

Or skills which improve your mobility. AG 6 precludes the need for a lot of passing skills, since he's already bombing on 2+ (or is it 3+?). Safe Throw would be useful, or Leap, Sure Feet, or Sprint.
I agree that Sure Hands isn't a bad idea either, but it seems to me the main thing that would increase your thrower's range even more is mobility skills...Let's see, sprint for 9 MA plus a 15 square bomb? 24 square throwing range, anyone?
On the other hand, what about making him a defensive thrower? Pass Block, Catch, Diving Catch, Tackle, something along those lines? |

hmm... dodge, then surehands, then block.
AG is needed for defense to retrive the ball and pass it away. On offense a normal elven thrower with accurate throws better passes than this guy. Don´t be fooled - AG6 still fumbbls a longpass on 1,2 and a longbomb on 1,2,3. So use the AG where you need it most: Defense.
On defense, you find yourself often in the situation, that you have knocked the ball free, but it´s in 3 TZ. This guy can dodge in, pickup and dodge out with 3+3+2+ and then pass the ball safely. As you are likely to have spent a reroll, when you go for the pickup, take things that give you rerolls, e.g. dodge (helps to survive), surehands and later block.
Should you roll a double, you could go for nerves of steel, as it allows you to pass without dodging out, but I would most likely forgoe a double on this one - he needs basic skills and let his AG do the rest.
Oh.. instead of block (or after) you could also consider passblock. |

SolomonKane: well, actually, without accurate or strong arm, he still fumbles a long bomb on a 1-3.
The main thing I'd use him for is recovering the ball in TZs. Probably dodge, leap or sure hands to improve the chances of success. Just don't expect him to live for long -- you probably don't want him to anyway (since he's niggled) ... just long enough to help other players get a few extra skills. |

I would go for leap, that helps you get to the ball and then you can dodge out. Forget throwing skills, ag6 players come once in a blue moon. 2+ short passing is good enough for him. |

You need to pretend he isn't a thrower anymore. Leap, Block, Dodge. |

What is interesting is that he has tried passing for 47 times, but he only has 8 completions. You think about that for a second. |
