Recently I have seen some poor sportsmanship and dishonesty.
I will start with stalling. It is a part of the game and it is a vood and viable tactic to use, especially with bashy type teams. There is nada wrong with doing it. That being said, when you sit for 3 or more turns on the goal line and end your turn without scoring, why not just admit that you are stalling? There is nada wrong with it and it can be a very intelligent thing to do. Take a game I had today for example. My opponant did this so I was forced to foul one of his players to let them know that I was going to try to make the stall as expensive as possible in hopes that the stall would stop. This is when my opponant got hyper and started throwing a fit that I fouled one of his players (was only a ko Rolling Eyes ) and decided to leave his computer for an extended period of time in hopes that I would get tired or dc so that they would get a default win.
To tell the truth, I found this extremely funny, but since I didnt have all day to dawdle waiting, I went to admin channel to get them to hurry up. This is when he finally decided to finish the game. Then, he and some of his buddies edit what was said to try to make it look as though he did not do that.
I say, just own up to it. It is a game. Why do so many people not realize that and just understand that it is a game meant for the players to have fun?

I have also had problems with unsportsmanlike conduct and unfriendly coaches recently. I played a lot on fumbbl a year ago and just recently returned. The fumbbl I remembered were more chatty and nice. Now I have met several coaches that are just plain rude. I hope that I just have been unlucky and that this is still as nice of a place that it used to be.

Oh wow, stalling and fouling in the same thread, now we can delete all the other threads since this will be THE THREAD! All hail the mighty thread!

Its not about stalling or fouling (at least my post werent). My post were about rude coaches and rude behaviour like leaving the game in the hope that the opponent disconects.

Or perhaps his prolonged delay was because he ate Mexican.

I really don't know how Fumbbl was "before", since I think I arrived after that. But I'd say yes, the community has possibly degenerated a bit.

LOL, this is not about stalling or fouling at all. It is about being honest about your actions and admitting when you do something. These people thinks it is ok for them to do something, but when they are called out on it, they get mad.

Just laziness. See, I admit it. Cool
