Every time I push the play button Java seems to start but then does nothing???? Very weird! Please help me! |

Just start the client manually.
Go to the folder and right click it, choose "open with" "Java......blabla..."
and you should be ok |

I have the same problem...i push button's Java, and i'm expeled with this text:

hmm...what folder do u mean? and open what with right click??
When I try to play a little Java Logo is popping up that says "Java loading" but then after 20 sec it dissapears and nothing happens... |

I have the same prob as elsotho, only the "Java loading" is coming up, remaining 10 sec and then nothing happens. i have NO window for choosing yes / no
I am connecting via a router / ports are free |

I have just got the same problem. Got it after downloading a Windows XP Update (Gotta love windows). Anyone had this problem and found a way to fix it?? |

sorry for bieng dumb... but i can't get a game to work either, it comes up with java loading or summat, and then this weird explorer comes up, what do i do then |

I am having the same problem, regardless of how I try to play the game. Java begins to load and does nothing. I can open it fine for a stand alone game, but nothing for an online one. |

Did you guys try a stand alone game is that working?
If no then reinstall javabowl.
If it works then try lauching the game on your own instead of clicking the play button.
To launch the game on yourself you need to:
- find your "Bbowl" folder
- find the "Bbowl.jar" program
- double click it (that should launch the game if it doesn't then try reinstaling/redownloading the program)
- click the "net server" option
- in the host section type "fumbbl.com"
- the port is 8081
- you need to check the proxy square and put the word you told your opponent as the proxy's name.
- in the TEAM1 section copy your team ROSTER's url (you can find it by clicking the little green circle with a "D" next to your team name)
exemple: http://fumbbl.com/teams/Crimson+Sinners.html
- then click host game and everything should be going fine
Hope I wasn't too much off and that it will solve some of your problems.
If it still doesnt work then give more specifications about what you tried and what didnt work. Its easier for other people to help that way. |

@OgladiH does it disconnect right away. If not try typing "/j #FUMBBL"
It should make you join the FUMBBL channel. |
