Reighning champion Claws R Us got owned bad by the dice and lost 1-2 in the opening game. That just thoroughly sucked goats ass.
Arkeos Flesh Feast Fighters moves on to the next round.
We´ll probably be back next season though.

The hoodoo has been broken. In the last 3 Cups we couldn't get out of Rd1. But finally a breakthru match!

The quarterfinals are here with 8 teams ready to win the cup.
Webbe's Mad Dog Mentals clearly have the edge in experience having won BB IX. However, they will face newcomer Ankkh and his fouling Khemri in what should be the CAS highlight of the round.
Cyco's Chaos Bringers made it through Chaos and Undead and now have to face Fejd's Khemri in what's been a very bashy three rounds. A win and the prize? Maybe another Khemri. (and this with race limitations as part of the tourney)
The undead are everywhere as we look at the next quarterfinal and see BB-Pad's Evil Breeds Evil. His undead will face the only Orcs in the final eight, Ozjesting's Da Chess Klubb.
Finally newcomer and late replacment Trog has advanced with his rats Springfield Underground to face forefeit winner (booooooo) Torrlagda Vikingar, coached by insanewillow. The CDs will be the toughest test so far. Trog better warm up the admin client.
Eight tough teams with eight good coaches.
It's tough to predict but I see Torrlagda Vikingar, Da Chess Klubb, Mad Dog Mentals, and Ravenwing Behemoths advancing to the final 4. |

They got so upset so they are now leaving the tournament.
btw, I really think stars should be banned. With the TR cap there is no room for homegrown stars but hired ones are ok. Looks odd, bad and unfair to me. |

So I guess Morg n Thorg didnt perform up to your expectations. Personally I dont like STARs either. Especially since my Norse get Zara (ooooohh ahhhhhhh). But the founding fathers wanted them so I keep with the tradition. Besides, I cant have ALL my tourneys look identical. |

Well my quarterfinal predictions went 2-2. About par for the course. The 2 semis look to be great.
<b>Semi #1</b>
<u>Torrlagda Vikingar - CD (insanewillow) vs
Evil Breeds Evil - Undead (BB-Pad)</u>
The "STARS" may come out to see this one as the Count has made an appearance in several Evil games so far. This will be a tough match up if Vikingar counters with a STAR BC. Prediction - CDs in final
<b>Semi #2</b>
<u>Death from B'elow - Khemri (ankkh) vs
Ravenwing Behemoths - Khemri (Fejd)</u>
If there was a definition of bashfest to put into the Spluttanica, it would be this matchup. The really funny part is if both teams try and hire the same STAR. This could very well go into OT tied at 0-0 with nothing but 4 mummies left on the field trying to pick up the ball.
I'll have to go with Fejd due to coaching experience in a close one. |
