Hiring is a part of pre-match sequence so one agrees to play a game before Griff is on a team's roster. |

Another option would be to convert them to unranked and join a nice tournament. Cash reserves can be useful there. |

Having a niggle-free team policy will drain your funds sufficiently. |

That's not a good idea. Zug is a ST5 MB lino, he will only teach your linos to bash... which is not exactly what the average human lino is proficient at... Might be a bad idea to let Zug teach tactics... |

Two throwers are a good choice cause you can develop both and if the first gets injured/killed/ages -AG you can buy a replacement and still have a developed thrower.
No human team needs more than three catchers imho. You sure don't want to field four ST2 players at the same time, notably because they have AG3 and they are not reliable anyway (I'd field four ST2AG4 players, but human catchers just can't do the job properly). Three catchers are enough: two on the field and one reserve. Four catchers only mean you are throwing away money for a positional or two you are likely not to field on the pitch. And with av7 they are not there to stay (unlike, say, orc linos who are cheap and durable cannonfodder and you can buy them even if you don't need them).
That said, use two throwers but don't have 4 catchers on your team. It's a bad choice imho. |

Jan, in hindsight I can only agree with you - 2 throwers is a good thing, also to make sure that the ball that will surely be placed with kick will get picked up. BTW - only catcher are on the pitch at the same time. With four I wanted to develop 2 dedicated scorers and 2 defensive ones, but I can now see that av8/7 teams will suffer from time to time, and you have to prepare for that. |
