norton firewall stoping me playing

hi, i have had problems playing games, when i disable my firewall it works. for obvious reasons i don't want to be playing with no firwall, or do i have no choice?

is there anyway around this?

I'm not very good at this kind of stuff, but maybe try going to the status screen, click on the "options" drop down, and select "Norton Anti-Virus"

Click "Internet Worm Protection" on the left hand side, and then click "Program Control" and add the various Java exe files and Java Blood Bowl to that list.
