I'm visiting my dad for Easter and trying to install everything on his computer so that I can watch the Warpstone Open from his house. My problem is this: his computer is running Windows 98, and the latest JRE (5.0) isn't fully compatible with this old version of Windows. The SkiJunkie software only requires JRE 1.3 or higher, and the older versions are compatible with Windows 98, but I can't seem to find a way on the java website to download anything but the latest version of JRE.

Weird, it works on my Win 98... Anyway, I don't think it's linked from the download site, but I looked around a bit and found a FAQ, where someone asked about the older versions, and was directed to http://java.sun.com/products/archive/ . Hope that helps |
