Karak Kadrin World Cup

Divided in the standarts TR ranges (0-125 / 126-150 / 151-175 / 176+), this cup will follow a world cup format. teams are in a qualifier. They need to end within the 2 first to get into the final stage of the tournament.

Dwarves will show there that they aren't on the decline. Thus they invited all races to display their power and the fact they are still good.

This tournament will start the 15th june. I want it BIG. Join it!!!

ps: I'll use the topic in channel #NL to display groups redlines and deadlines.

I really still need

2TR 151-175 teams

4TR 0-125 teams

ASAP

Sartosa is a town of Pirates living in South of the Old World. They jumped into BloodBowl frenzy after a ritual executed by a Spellcaster named Nuffle.

They have an opening tournament before the Summer Tresure quest. In this tournament, Gold and Victory are all that matters.

This is an open round robin divided in 2 categories: 0-150 and 151+. Since it's summer, and many will leave on holiday, this tournament has a free scheduling: get as many games as you want in your group. It will start the 15th July.

What counts for pirates here is fun: The score is thus:
20/10/0 +1 per TD, +1 per cas (for the show and entertainment produced)

Pirates are also impressed by gold.
The 1st August, the 16th August and the 1st September, the staff will look at your treasury and add 1pt for every 10k gold to your score.
Being rich: that's what matters to pirates.

1st september, the 4 first teams in the standings AND being active (strictly less than 7days away from FUMBBL) will go to the playoffs.

Have fun!

I start it this evening. I'll add 12 fillers for late enters. You still can join!

Sartosa's Pirates, after the opening Cup for entertainement, launch the Tresure Quest.

Special group with no TR requierement, it's turned to open games.

Every turn, 4 tasks are send simulating the quest for the treasure. Every task achieved records you 1pt (up to 2 pts). For the 2 open tasks will try to keep a balance between bashy tasks and agile tasks. The 2 others may be competitive tasks, where only the best team will do.

At the end of every turn, we totalize your score. Winner is the one with more points at the end of all rounds.

e.g.:
tasks:
1-play the most legendary team possible (mas total game played)
2-Inflict 2 cas in 1 game
3-score 2tds in one game
4-challenge a team with more strength over you (max wins).

You go to U, and try to complete one or more of these tasks.

Fluff and trashtalking are really requiered here. It's more about fun than real competitiveness.

Have Fun

Next NL event, starting the 15th september:

NL Road to Marienburg

In a previous fluff tournament, the Chaos dwarf won and conquered the free city of Marienburg. Archaon's Horde decided after the Chaos Cup that his servants were ready and he aim for Marienburg to become his stronghold.

The Empire and, maybe, the whold Old World, was thus forced to make a quicker move than what they wanted, and the rush to Marienburg started!

To simulate the rush, 2 consecutives swiss tournament will occur. Every details on the tournament page.

Of course, the teams will be divided in 4 TR zones:

0-125, 126-150, 151-175, 176+

currently, we are at:
3teams in 0-125
4teams in 126-150,
7in 151-175
8 in 176+

we aim for more low TR teams (though high TR still can join!) Go ahead!

This is the next NL event:

NL Norsca Hivernal Leagues

Only the fittest and the strongest can survive in the everlasting cold of Norsca. But even in their extrem environement, norses doeas set a tournament:

The Norsca Hivernal Leagues.

The conditions are difficult to every team, even those used to this extreme weather, and it doesn't help the game to be played.

As a standart in NL leagues, the scoring is 3/1/0.
Also, groups are:
0-125 in TR
126-150 in TR
151-175 in TR
176+ in TR.

However, these are the special rules that apply to this tournament:

Standart Rule:

The referee let the game start when the weather seems fine enough to play the full game length. However, the weather changes are too quick to have a praticable field for a full half. To simulate this:
-At the start of the 6th turn, go into NL channel or Fumbbl channel and ask Nuffle for a d6 roll: (command: !d 6). On a 6, the 6th, 7th and 8th turn are skipped.
-At the 7th turn, if the half is resumed, roll a d6, the rest of the half is resumed on a 5+.
-At the 8th turn, the 8th is skipped on a 4+.

Optional rule. If both players agrees at a start of a half, they can use this optional rule.

The last stand!
as usual, you have to roll at the start of the 6th, 7th and 8th turn start, but also at the 5th turn, what resumes this half on a 6+.

However, both coaches may still move during that last turn. For every player, roll a d6. On a 6, you have done your moves for that last turn. End turn. Your opponent still have a few moves to give (6+=end turn also).
By the way: You DO NOT NEED to declare what is your next move before rolling the d6. However, you MAY NOT roll a stream of d6 to know how much moves you have. you never know when your move is your last of the half.

Explanations: The optional rule is more intense but also requiers more work. So it's up to you to decide what rule you use.

Exemple:
Case 1: regular rule.
Player 1 is the first to reach turn 6. Both coaches go into the chat and roll a d6. 4. Ok, both coaches play their respective turn.
Turn 7: they roll their d6: 5! End of half! Both coaches skip that last turn.

Case 2: Optional rule.

Player 1 is the first to reach turn 5. They go into chat and roll a d6. 5! Both coaches play they turn.
Turn 6: a 6 already! Limited amount of time. And player 1 HAS to score this turn. He starts by wanting to lend an assist. 4. Ok he moves. Next a block. roll: 1. ok is done. Now he rolls for the next move. 5. He makes a succesfull pass. Now he wants to score but unluckily, he rolls a 6! End of his turn!
The opponent still may try to blitz, pass and score himself in his own last turn; he just have to roll 5s at maximum!

BB is on a simultaneous game, that's why we allow the opponent to move after your own last turn moves
