I've noticed when using my v.92 modem that I the javabowl client drops connection quite frequenty just after the turn ends. This does not happen with my old USRobotics 28.8 modem.

Are you using XP? I still think that XP has trouble with some network drivers. This is the 2nd case I have heard of where two different pieces of hardware on the same XP install can have one work, and one cause this problem. Perhaps the drivers are not XP certified? I dunno.

The last one was two network cards, one working and one causing this same problem. If you are using XP, check the manufact website and see if you are using the latest modem drivers and network drivers for your v.92 modem.
