Hello all,

I just installed a new version of Norton Antivirus (r). And I scanned my computer on viruses, it told me it found one virus that doesn't really look like a virus.

Virusname: Java.Nocheat
found in c:\.....\...\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\file\
File : Count.class-45200384-52054c2f.class

Anyone knows if this is a real virus or not?

*edit* wrong forum.. sorry, can't change it anymore

Gasp! Perhaps JavaBBowl has a bug that will make us all change into Blood Bowl playing junkies! (runs and hides)

What product are you using? I currently have Symantec Corporate Edition (what a shocker considering my nick, I know), but I recently bought Norton AnitVirus Pro 2004 (r) for my home PC, is this the one that is finding the virus?

Symantec's info on this virus. It appears it affects Microsoft's java implementation.
